Course Curriculum Overview

All the staffs imparts knowledge practically which improves our working skill. The theory that we study from the books will be taught and explained practically by them to get a keen knowledge about the subject.

Class Size: 300Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is around Rupees Sixty thousand per year. They also provide many placement assistance to the students. Skill development programs are also organized by the college frequently. The college offers many scholarships to the needful in respect with the government policies

Campus Life

Overall it is a very good campus. The campus give importance to both studies as well as sports and other co caricular activities. It also has a NSS unit and an IEEE SB Branch. All of the campus environment provides a positive vibe

Admission

We must secure a good rank in the keam exam as well as score high in plus two also. The admission process is very simple. Just contact the admission cell of the college. They give us complete knowledge regarding the course, fee structure, etc .

Faculty

All are well qualified faculties. They work hard for the development of students not only in studies but also in the personal life of students. All of them are very supportive and encourages every students in studies as well in co caricular activities also

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Main companies visiting the campus are IBM , TCS ,TATA ELXSI,L&T, Cognizant,Toshiba,Vanenburg,Kalkitech,Sobha,Mrf ,Juspay,Dynolt and many more. 70 % students get placement Highest package is 16 lpa and average is 5 lpa After degree higher studies can be considered.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
