- Aap professors are very good and take know about the subject in detail and the love their subjects and teach us how to love the subject
- Jadavpur university has a strong track record of campus placements, with many students securing promising job opportunities in leading companies across various industries.
- The eligibility of the course for electronics and telecommunication engineering is you have to get a good marks and rank in wbjee exam, our department is second best after cse is the best department in our college
Dislikes
- Quality of faculty is not very good as the salaries are low. the flawed fees structure causes the university to be dependent on government funds and lack autonomy.
- The thing which i disliked is the level of difficulty in our syllabus..it's a bit tough.
- The infrastructure of the class and labs are not good due to lack of funds and skilled personnel at all levels.

- There are a lot of things to love, it's very affordable
- It offers a great experience and gives a better placement to most of students
- All the professors and seniors are very cooperative, all time it's like a festival within the campus
Dislikes
- Like every engeneering college girl ratio is very poor, in my department out of 50 students only 6 are girls
- In case of education it is best, so sometimes students get in pressure for syllabus
- Hostels are not such great but I think it depends on student not on college
Placement Experience:
Some department get 100 percent placement, and all other department aslo 98 or 97 percent placement. After 3rd year students can give the placement interview. As construction is lower department of the college it's highest package is about 12LPA and on an average 9LPA.

- Return on Investment here is very excellent.
- Faculty is awesome and senior-junior relationship is very healthy. Campus life is awesome.
- There are many opportunities to explore for students and placements are nearly over 90% in my University.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is a little out-dated with respect to other private colleges.
- Male to female ratio is about 10:2, which I consider to be very poor.
- The course curriculum for Engineering students is B.E. , which is outdated with respect to B.Tech degree in other Engineering Colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I was very much interested in Engineering and kept it as much only option going into college-life. So, when I got Electrical at Jadavpur University, there was no second-thinking. The curriculum is very fantastic and prepares students well for their real life applications. The frequency and timings of exam are also made flexible here, according to students wishes, which is very unique here.

- Weather, Environment, Thes Professors are very approachable.
- There are 7 canines and they all compete to keep the prices of the foods very low, while maintaining higene and quality.
- You can join clubs and launch interdepartmental and interdisciplinary projects with the approval of professors really easily.
Dislikes
- The buildings need to be remodeled and reenforced.
- Need to improve Lab Equiptment number and quality
- There are serious lack of 3 pin plug ports in a class room. There should be 50, but only exsits 3. Only a select buildings have AC, so in summer you feel like a boiled egg at best.
Placement Experience:
From 7th semister students are eligible for campus placement.
With average package bouncing from 11LPA to 9LPA and Highest Domestic Bounces from 27LPA to 22LPA
More than 100 Companies visit each year.
The placement bounces from 98% to 90%
I will go the GATE and PSU route.

- I engaged with campus life and the quality of social interaction is very good.
- The quality of infrastructure including campus amenities and learnng facilities is very strong.
- the faculty experties, teaching methods,and mentorship quality is best.
Placement Experience:
Placement are quite good in our University. more than 90% students placed in previous year. students are eligible for internship from 3rd year means 5th semester and 4th year means from 7 th semester they are eligible for campus full time placement.Many giant company visit in our university like Google Wells fargo PWC Texas Instruments Vedanta JSW Oracle etc

- In our college, they provide good compus life for students to pursuing good academic activities
- Our college gives good sport facilities, all types of sports ground are available
- State of the art labs and extensive library resources
Dislikes
- Slow processing of paperwork and approvals
- Inefficient in handling students queries and issues
- Overcrowded class room and labs during peak hours
Placement Experience:
From 3 Rd sem onwards you can sit for campus interview for internship, in every year in our department 80 company visit for fte offers. They provide 100% placement to students, highest placement in our college is 2.1 cr and average like 14LPA , i would chose for campus placement

Course Curriculum Overview:
There is very nice course system, and other deperment is very nice they hepl to creat the projects, there curricumlum is very nice , all over this my fevorite pleace, of my daily life.i also love it and friend is like also.

- My University give us a very good social and enjoying campus life. Here have lots of clubs, society for extra curricular activities.
- University give us a very good intership and placement opportunities.Like previous year 92% students placed during campus placement.
- The fees is very low.If someone have financial issue they don't need a educational loan like other colleges because fees is very very less.
Dislikes
- This is a tier university but infrastructure is so high like IITs.
- The faculty's is good but their teaching methods are old.
- In engineering girls to boys ratio is less but in other facilities like arts and science the ratio is good.
Placement Experience:
Placement are quite good in our university. More than 90% student placed in previous year. Students are eligible for internship from 3rd year means 5th semester and in 4th year means 7 semester they are eligible for campus placement. More than 190 company visit in every year. Some popular company like Google, Texas instrumental, pwc, gapshup, cognizant, Oracle, Salesforce, ZS, Paytm, Airbus, cesc, Vedanta, JSW and more. In this year highest package grab by a students is 1.4 crore. Average package offered by company is more or less than 12 lacs.

- Firstly the interesting thing about this college is its most affordable fees structure compared to any other college in India
- The faculties here are highly educated and also help students in research work
- Placements here is the nice which even competes with top IITs and NITs
Dislikes
- college infrastructure is recently being taken care of due to NAAC visit in our college
- Female students are very less in this branch i would mention but I think anyone who has high ambitions should focus more on studies and not on girls
- The present West Bengal State Government does not appreciate the revolutionary, protesting behaviour of the students
Placement Experience:
After 6th sem students can apply for college placements
Many good companies visit our college including DESHAW,Schrodinger , Wells Fargo ,Texas Intruments
highest in our branch is - 35 LPA
highest in college- 1 CR (I.T. dept)
Average -10 LPA
Above 90% gets placed
To get placed before getting degree

- well my experience at the college campus at the first instance was very good. I met a lot of new friends who were from my hometown as well as from kolkata
- our college campus has a very big playground which helps the students other than the studies to focus on the extra curricular activities .
- it also has a basketball court, a football court , a volleyball court , a big cricket ground , a badminton court and many more which is helpful for the students who are interested in sports.
Dislikes
- THE girls to boys ratio is very bad to be honest .Its like 50 boys to 6-7 girls in one classroom or one batch or department to be approx. so its a drawback
- the gender ratio is quite bad from my point of view the ratio should be more
- since the college is in bengal so most students are bengali and the outsiders face a problem in communicating in bengali
Placement Experience:
The placement of our college is very good in comparison to the other engineering colleges if India .It provides an average package of approx 15-16 lakh per annum. It is very helpful for the students from the lower background (financially) .
