lot's of company come in our campus for giving internship oppotunity of 3rd year students. those company which are visited for internship like google texas instruments, amazon,reliance wells fargo pwc . this type of company gives a huge stipend like google give 1.2 lakhs per month.for texas instruments it's 60000.

Placement are quite good in our University. more than 90% students placed in previous year. students are eligible for internship from 3rd year means 5th semester and 4th year means from 7 th semester they are eligible for campus full time placement.Many giant company visit in our university like Google Wells fargo PWC Texas Instruments Vedanta JSW Oracle etc

Fees and Financial Aid

There are two semester in every year and every semester has to class test and one semester exam in every semester and I got sufficient time to prepare those exam. course fees 2450

Campus Life

If you can active participate in college all activity then college life is very enjoyment. the annual techfest is srijan , sanskriti, and for welcoming freshers students there are lots of fest like u turn, ciippus and departmetal freshers. there are two library in our campus one is central library and other one is in saltlake campus. there are sufficient books for reading and research.there are many types of sports also like table tennis, cricker, football, busketball, badminton, volleyball etc.

Hostel Facilities

There are two campus in our university one is Jadavpur campus and other is saltlake campus. In jadavpur campus there are 4th seated bed in a room and saltlake campus all rooms are single seated. you have to pay less than 2000 for meal charge for a month . inside a room there are a table a almirah, chair bed . you have to submit a hostel form and then interview will be happen .if you select then you got a hostel room .

Hostel Fee: INR 2500 per year

Admission

Jadavpur University is a top university through WBJEE exam. I have applied many prestigious college like NIT Durgapur, IIEST Shibpurand i got admission these college but I choose Jadavpur University and i choose circuital branch with low fees . Placement scenario is quite good. more than 190 companies visit every year. some popular company like Google PWC Gupshup Texas Instruments Oracle Salesforce Cairn Amazon Vedanta JSW Paytm Airbus.In this year highest package grab by student is 1.4 cr . Here the admission process is complete through WBJEE exam.But other college regarding palcement scenario , is very low.

Placement Experience:

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

Like my main was getting to IIT which I couldn't as U couldn't clear JEE advanced.So my next option was to choose between NITS and JU.So clearly choose JU because it completes our BE in 10k whereas the fees of NITs are really high.So as I gave JEE in 2024 my jee main rank was something around 64K (95.5 percentile) and my wbjee rank was 2341 and got alloted food Technology and biochemical engineering in jadavpur university.The process to get into our college is to give wbjee and if u are a general your rank should be within 2500 to get into this premium college....Read More

Homebound Forward with Jadavpur University

I have always wanted to study in Jadavpur University in one of their literature departments since I was a kid. This was a way of achieving a tiny dream of mine. Moreover, the Comparative Literature Department is the best in all entire Asia and the first one in the country. I wanted to experience the greatness of this course and how the canons of this literature were formed here. It is also the topmost State Public University and 9th in NIRF I wanted to be a part of an institution that could be great to this extent. The admission took place on the basis of a merit-based entrance examination. The seats are limited; therefore, only the top 15 students out of almost 800-1000 who appeared for the exam were selected. The Pros and Cons of Joining Jadavpur University Masters of Arts in Economics

1) I applied for Delhi School of Economics, however couldn't manage an admission due to the extreme cutoff on CUET exam for the same. I had confirmed admission from North Bengal University, however it was not feasible since I had a choice in Jadavpur University. Jadavpur University has the best rank among all other colleges I had a confirmed admission to, so I chose this University. 2) I wanted to study in Delhi School of Economics, but couldn't make it there due to the extensive cutoff in CUET which I unfortunately couldn't clear. 3) Jadavpur University conducts its own internal exam for admission into its esteemed Masters of Arts [M.A.] programme. However one can get through by CUET exams as well, however that needs a decent score.
