Jadavpur University made me understand what a human should be entitled to. Freedom of thought, freedom of speech and right to life. Also, apart from chemical Engineering or the course you are enrolled in, you grow matured and emerge a better human being.

I am a student of computer science and engineering here, I admitted through wbjee entrance test. If anyone wanted to study in this college then he/she have to secure withing 1000 rank in wbjee. This college is the top institution in West Bengal after IIT Kharagpur.

Good Remarks - Professors, Courses, Research Environment, Placement. Bad Remark - Hostel, Food, Infrastrucutre.

Good reamrks is it is for all, it gives us to protest against power, who want to dominant the society.

I guess the brand answers it all. With such a great brand name and a strong alumni base with such hard-working Training and Placement Officers getting a dream job is just a few years away for a rookie.

Jadavpur University is the best college in all of Kolkata. With a NAAC accreditation better than half the IITs, and an international reputation as the highest research-producing college of India, Jadavpur University will soon become a global name

Being a govt University the management is conscious but slow in meeting demands and issues of students.

Jadavpur University offers a wide range of courses both at the UG and PG level therefore the recruiters get a chance to pick students from different sectors.The various companies recruting oncampus are Microsoft, De-Shaw, Adobe,Atlassian, Salesforce, Codenation, Samsung, Amazon, Directi, PWC etc. For 2020 batch the highest package backed was 58 LPA at Google, and 3 50 LPA jobs at Atlassian and Shopee.

It is one of the best universities in India. NIRF ranking of this year was 16 for engineering only and 5 among all universities. It has one of the best faculties, especially the mechanical department and the ambience is really great and welcoming.
