Jadavpur University is the heritage and pride of West Bengal. There is a sense of pride and fulfillment associated with studying in Jadavpur University. The affordable fees and high quality of education were also driving factors. The open-minded nature of everyone including teachers and the freedom of pursuing your dream were included too. I opted for the course because my rank allowed an option between mechanical and production. I chose production due to the statistics and Operations research oriented subjects linked to it. These would help me pursue my desired higher study course.

Nearest to my home, everything is very nice including infrastructure,teaching and environment. Students and seniors are super supportive. Placement is also commendable. Students from even not so well to do family can study because of the fee structure.

Placements percentage in the college is really high and offers different types of opportunities as well related to research the MUN opportunities are also really good the return on investment factory is impressive

Currently in top six prestigious Universities of India, Very low Tuition fee can also say the lowest in India. Had a rank of 12 at the time of my admission in India. Good Curriculum, Friendly teachers and seniors.

This is a very prestigious institution for engineering as well as arts. Has an NIRF ranking of 10 in engineering. The net fees is extremely less. A great percentage of people get placed in the campus interviews. Puts emphasis on practical approach in teaching

1. The placement is outstanding especially for the CSE and IT branch. For other branches, it is decent. Sometimes core companies (for any branch )do not visit the campus still the students are good enough to crack the IT companies that visits the campus,or they crack the core companies by applying offcampus. 2. NIRF Ranking of the college is under 10. It even beats few IITS. 3. Ample opportunities are there in the field of research. 4. RETURN OF INVESTMENT -- In terms of ROI i guess it is India's best college. I mean u just have to pay nearly 11000 for whole course and in turn get a well paid job.

When I was in class 11 I want to become an engineer, which was my dream, my elder brother is an engineer ( recently working in TCS) he told me to prepare for Webjee and said that jadavpue university is one of the best college for engineering all over india, maximum student get placed and the salary package is also good. Except these JU provides a great quality teaching, the campus infrastructure and lab are very good. And the annual fees are just 10000 in 4 years, so it's a great opportunity for me cause my famit can't afford the huge amount for my study, for all the mentioned reason I joined in Jadavpur university.

Placement offers tuition fee. other options i had and this came out the best. I took this course only for job and money prospects. How little i had to invest and how much i could get in return. I dont have any liking for any subject so that didnot matter.

I preferred to take Electronics as my stream with somewhere which had a good research base and was close to my home. Hence Jadavpur University ticked all the boxes. Also I was interested in arts and aesthetics and photography from a very young age and JU has a culture which would've enabled me to pursue that as well.
