Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very well suited and updated to the current situation. We have labs with great equipments and it provides greater insights. The faculties are the maestro in their domain and their way of teaching is great.

Placement Experience

Jadavpur University offers a wide range of courses both at the UG and PG level therefore the recruiters get a chance to pick students from different sectors.The various companies recruting oncampus are Microsoft, De-Shaw, Adobe,Atlassian, Salesforce, Codenation, Samsung, Amazon, Directi, PWC etc. For 2020 batch the highest package backed was 58 LPA at Google, and 3 50 LPA jobs at Atlassian and Shopee.

College Events

Probably the best campus life one can have at college is at our Jadavpur University. We host the largest tech fest in Bengal Srijan at our college every year. We have a cultural fest named Sanskriti which is the largest in east India. We have various tech events, ted talks,business events and science meets all over the year through various club events like Science club, Code Club, IEEE Student Chapter, E-cell etc.

We have two big football grounds, two basketball courts, gyms, table tennis, volleyball, cricket pitches. We have 24*7 free wifi available. The libraries are a gem with a huge collections. We have the most up to date equipments at our labs.

The placement performance in my college is average few student get decent placement otherwise many sales company come and took the student .Around 30 percent student in my class got placement by college other strudents get placed by thereselves there is no role of placement and training department in this.

After 7th semester companies started coming and there is different criteria for different companies like some company have criteria for more then 8.5 cgpa will be able to seat only in their placement conducting it is totally based on company preferences. The highest package was 9 lpa and average package was 3 lpa. Around 60 percent student get placed in my department.

Companies started coming around 7 th semester there is different criteria for different companies like you have more tan nine cgpa then you are eligible for that particular company. Around 50 percent people in my class get placed . Companies like TCS ,wipro EY are mass hiring company.

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

My Honest Review For Nit Durgapur

Placement Experience:

Yes our college offers campus placements.Students from 4th year are eligible for campus placements.Many reputed nation and international companies like microsoft,Wipro,TCS, Infosys and many more companies offrers placement every year in this college. arrording to 2025 deta overall placement rate was 82 percent, Highest packege was 80 lpa and average packege was 12.6lpa. My only plan to get a good placements.

Like my main was getting to IIT which I couldn't as U couldn't clear JEE advanced.So my next option was to choose between NITS and JU.So clearly choose JU because it completes our BE in 10k whereas the fees of NITs are really high.So as I gave JEE in 2024 my jee main rank was something around 64K (95.5 percentile) and my wbjee rank was 2341 and got alloted food Technology and biochemical engineering in jadavpur university.The process to get into our college is to give wbjee and if u are a general your rank should be within 2500 to get into this premium college....Read More

Homebound Forward with Jadavpur University

I have always wanted to study in Jadavpur University in one of their literature departments since I was a kid. This was a way of achieving a tiny dream of mine. Moreover, the Comparative Literature Department is the best in all entire Asia and the first one in the country. I wanted to experience the greatness of this course and how the canons of this literature were formed here. It is also the topmost State Public University and 9th in NIRF I wanted to be a part of an institution that could be great to this extent. The admission took place on the basis of a merit-based entrance examination. The seats are limited; therefore, only the top 15 students out of almost 800-1000 who appeared for the exam were selected.
