Likes
- The labs stole my heart i was always amazed of the phyics lab and chem lab and after ding some experiments i was very happy
- Infrastructure is best as we have organised campus with food eateries and canteens .
Dislikes
- Getting no leaves for preparation between exams is the worst thing happening here
- The teaching is very bad by some of the research oriented professors.

- The availability of health facilities is also really convenient

Placement Experience:
1)From the 5th semester itself placements season starts 2)Companies like apple,mircosft,amazon,accenture made about 169offers 3)The percentage of students getting placed is about 68% 4) After getting degree i will mostly opt for a job and get a industry expereince

- Beautiful, lush green and pollution free campus
- 2100 acres of land in the college, great place to go out on cycling trips with friends to great locations

- Large campus sometimes makes trips from hall to classes a bit too long
- Climate is rainy most of the time for many months, and also really high humidity.
Placement Experience:
Campus placements generally start around 4th year. Around 150 companies arrive for campus placements, but few companies have restrictions, such as only allowing circuital branches. These companies specifically pay a lot. In circuital branches around 80 - 85% of students are getting placed, and non-circuital branches have a placement rate of around 65%. The highest package is generally international, going for around 2.5 crores. The average package for CSE goes for around 35 LPA, but for non-circuital branches, goes for around 15 LPA. There is also a huge opportunity to head for an MBA or Civil services here, and also many research proficiencies can be obtained. The con I would like to provide is that for non-circuital branches, core placements are really difficult considering how fewer core companies actually arrive for placements

- The faculty members were knowledgeable and supportive, offering guidance both inside and outside the classroom.
- The extensive infrastructure, including well-equipped labs and libraries, facilitated learning and research.

- The intense competition and workload could be overwhelming at times.
- The placement process, though robust, could be stressful for some students.
Placement Experience:
IIT Kharagpur's placement record is commendable. Students become eligible for campus placements from the sixth semester onwards. Renowned companies like Google, Microsoft, and Goldman Sachs visit the campus, offering a plethora of roles across domains. The highest package offered is INR 4 crores per annum, with an average package around INR 20 lakhs per annum. The placement percentage is typically high, with a significant portion of students securing job offers. For those not opting for campus placements, various avenues exist post-graduation. Many pursue higher studies, while others venture into entrepreneurship or seek employment through off-campus channels. Personally, I plan to explore opportunities in my field of interest, possibly aiming for higher studies or industry roles aligned with my career aspirations.

- Campus is quite large and many sports facilities are there. Fests conducted are also very good.
- During diwali there is illumination which is basically making design using diyas.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placements from 6th semester. Companies that visits are Mc Kinsey, Bain and Company, BCG, Google, Microsoft, HPCL, IOCL, ONGC etc. Highest package offered this year 1.7 crore offered by google for a profile of software development engineer. Approximately 90% of the students get placed. I will go for MS in Nanyang Technology University.

- The peer you get here is unimaginable which every non IITIAN misses
- There is a lot of time avialable for you to learn new skills
Dislikes
- The resevation criteria is a major setback for general candidates
- The mess food quality is also poor below expectations.
Placement Experience:
Placements here are at a top notch so no need to worry about placements here but this year was bad for global markets so there we saw a major decline especially for this year but onn average 90% students get placed on placement drive with an average package of 18Lpa
Likes
- Various opportunities for overall development .
- Campus area is aroud 2100 acers , and there are night cantins.
Dislikes
- There is nothing outside of the campus .
- There are trival subjects like biology in the course.
Placement Experience:
Placements of the college is quite good . If a do not get campus placement ,one vaible option is to pursue further education by enrolling in a Master's program in Computer Science . Many reputable instituions , including IITs,offer advanced degrees that can provide me with comprehensive knowledge and skills in computer science.
