In this i have many oppurtunities to go for MS outside India. Also it is not that difficult as compared to other courses like electrical or civil engineering. Faculties over here are also quite nice. Professors over here have done thier studies from IIT's itself and some of them have done phd from foreign universities. We have mid sem exams,end sem exams, and some class test in a semester. The difficulty level of the exams are not hard but not also very easy ,it's quite moderate. Like in first semester there is subject called physics of waves which is quite hard but other subjects are not that hard.

Interns at iit kharagpur often get the chance to work on research projects under the guidance of faculty members. Companies like BCG, Google, Microsoft, Apple, ONGC, MC Kinsey give internships to many students.

Students become eligible for campus placements from 6th semester. Companies that visits are Mc Kinsey, Bain and Company, BCG, Google, Microsoft, HPCL, IOCL, ONGC etc. Highest package offered this year 1.7 crore offered by google for a profile of software development engineer. Approximately 90% of the students get placed. I will go for MS in Nanyang Technology University.

Fees is quite high. Since my family income is less so i got the tuition fee waiver of 77000 rupees. I also got the Merit Cum Means Scholarship(MCM) of 33000 rupees. Since it is a government institute we get many scholarships which is not possible in any private institutions.

Our campus is one of the largest campus in India spreaded across 2200 acres, which is quite a lage number. We have spring fest as our annual cultural fest and kshitij as our annual tech fest. They are mainly conducted in the month of January. Our classes are conducted in Nalanda complex which can accomodate 30000 students at a time. Classrooms are also quite large having Wi-Fi facilities and power sockets for charging laptops. We also have projectors in each classroom. Labs are also very good. There are sports ground for athletics, football, cricket, hockey, basketball and many more. We have inter hall competitions in sports, cultural activites. There are many clubs in the college like robotics socitety, Entrepreneurship cell, pravah(a hindi dramatics society), awaaz(media body of IIT KHARAGPUR) and many more.

We ave wifi facility in the room, 24/7 water and electricity, also provioded cupboard for keeping clothes. Mess food is also nice. There are total 4 meals ina day i.e., breakfast,lunch,snacks and dinner. They serve poha, dosa, bread jam, chole bature in breakfast. In lunch or dinner there is chicken curry, paneer, rajma, daal(daily) and much more. Registration process is quite easy. At the time of admission we just have to provide our allotment letter that we have recieved during counselling process and after that they allot our rooms which is triple sharing in my case.

A candidate should secure atleast 75% in CBSE board in class 12th or should be in the top 20 percentile in class 12th in respective state boards. First i have to given jee mains after qualifying i gave JEE Advanced. After clearing jee advanced i got admission to IIT KHARAGPUR. The cut off for jee advanced 2023 is 86. I belong to OBC category. The cut off for OBC category is 77 and my score is 112 out of 360.
