The eligibility requirement of PGDBA program admission are:

• Candidates must have a Graduation or PG degree in 10+2+4/10+2+5/10+2+3+2 pattern with minimum 60% aggregate marks or 6.5 CGPA on 10.0 point scale. 
• Qualifying degree for the course are B. Tech., B.E., M.Sc., M.Com. or equivalent. 
• However, One Year MBA is not considered equivalent to M.Sc or M.Com.
• For ST/SC and PWD candidates, the minimum eligibility marks is 55% or CGPA 6.0 on 10.0 point scale.
• Candidates in the final year of UG or PG course can apply.

IIT Kharagpur Admission in PGDBA will be granted on the basis of entrance exams, after which the shortlisted candidates will be called for a Personal Interview. Due consideration will also be given to work experience and academic standing.
