GBPUAT Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

In final year of btech companies start coming. Maximum students of CSE and IT get placed. Package is min. 3.2Lacs CTC. Both mass recruiters and startups take part in the placement drive. A good number of students get placed. But maximum students of our college opt for higher studies like appearing for GATE, GRE, CAT exams. Further students indulge in preparation for govt services like UPSC, Defence.

I like coding and programming so i decide to take the CS branch in this college. Curriculum is not fitted in the Course criteria because we get other branch course whoch are not helfull for us. Curriculum should be contain proper course subjects and knowledge that are required after the degree program. The time period between the exams are so close, nearly one month are getting between the exams the frequency of exams are not good

Placements are average at this college. you need to complete at least your 6th semester to go for placements. Wipro, tcs these companies provide placements here. The average package is almost 8L per year. The highest packages goes off-campus. About 20L.

Placement are very impressive then any of the other colleges which allows you to get best carrier opportunities for your life ahead mest of the people get the placement in the campus only other get it out of the campus

From 7th semester you can available to sit in a campus placement.average placements of computer engineering is 4-5 lakh TCS is the mass recruiter.they visit every year and 80 percent students were placed in our branch so overall placement is good.highest package of the college is 10 lakh(on campus)and 18 lakh is off campus

I choose Computer Engineering as I was always fascinated and excited in programming field. And the excitement of learning different programming languages like C, C++, Java made me opt my course. Pros: The faculties here are experienced and have much experience in teaching, they have all their knowledge stored in their mind and know the art of delivering it. The student ratio here is 3:1 (boys:girls) . Maximum teachers have their PhD completed, and rest have at least their masters done Or are on the way of completing their PhD. Their was 2 exams per day that was a bit hectic, but with the help of professors guidance, it was easy to pass the exam.

Because I like computers. Faculty:ratio= 2:1 Faculty is graduated from IIT Bombay Every month there is a exam which is known as prefinals and after that there is practicals and there after there is finals.

College placement is not so much high but mostly every student get placed due to TCS near the college ...But previous year the highest package i have heared that us of 36 lakh from Cse or It department... If you have good quality you can get internship from 2nd 3rd year

It's good but exposure is not good here and it's in a place where one can not expect metro facilities. So that's a con of this college. But if you want to experience nature then it's a good place for you.

It was Highly reputed college, especially at that time.Apart from its reputation,it was just hour away from my home.Also it's fees was highly affordable.The competition is very tough and most students you'll find will have jee rank under 1 lakh.
