The best thing is the infrastructure of the campus. It is quite impressive as well as fascinating how so many hostels, library and colleges are settled in the best way.
Campus and faculties are quite much helping.

Dislikes

The distance between our hostel and the college is too much.
The night out timing for girls is just 6pm.
I guess i should not be finding more negative points of the campus as it'll just affect my mindset as i have to live here only for the rest 3.5 years.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Computer Engineering as I was always fascinated and excited in programming field. And the excitement of learning different programming languages like C, C++, Java made me opt my course. Pros: The faculties here are experienced and have much experience in teaching, they have all their knowledge stored in their mind and know the art of delivering it. The student ratio here is 3:1 (boys:girls) . Maximum teachers have their PhD completed, and rest have at least their masters done Or are on the way of completing their PhD. Their was 2 exams per day that was a bit hectic, but with the help of professors guidance, it was easy to pass the exam.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees were submitted during semester registration, as soon as the semester starts and the amount is nearly 60,000. For TFW it is around 30,000. NSP is one of the scholarship that the college fascilitates. This is for students with some category and having financial issues to pay the fees.

Campus Life

Life at campus is pretty good, having new experiences, different peoples and exploring campus area is quite enjoyable. The college society organizes many fests like litrosphere to help freshers improve their communication skills and make them confident. Books are available in our university library which we can be issued as per the library rules. Stadium is the best place where we can enjoy each sports cause of the availability of many instruments. In first semester we have a course named work programme which helps students enhance their sports spirit. ETS is the college society of the students of college of technology.

Admission

I got admission in this college on the basis of JEE MAINS. The eligibility of my course (Computer Engineering) this year was above 90 percentile for general girls and above 95 percentile for boys with general category. This varies with the cutoff . The application form and other information regarding are available on the college website. The admission process was quite impressive as their were sitting arrangements for students as well as parents and for distant students, guest house was also available. This University also conducts exam for BSc students and exam for agriculture students as well.

UPES University brings in a different energy!!

Placement Experience:

Infy, Techno India, Brumha and many as techies are required all over. From a watchmaker to salt maker without a techie a business can't grow big. So, even though there are 500+ CSE students still 75 percent or so get placed easily from our campus.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally good for circuital branches but as for lower branches either you have to go in core which is difficult(off campus it is easy , since you have a IIT tag) but non core placements are decents . From 7th semster one become capable for sitting in interviews. Highest package is around 2Cr as for average it ranges between 22-30 lpa Almost 100% students are placed except for those who with thier own startup or try for offcampus placements. My plans are for getting a MBA degree from IIM Ahmedabad or Banglore.

I applied for agriculture college and was confirmed admission, but I was more inclined towards animal biology than plant . I tried for a medical College too , but my score didn't permit me to score a seat there. The admission process is through a pen and paper mode exam ( objective type ) containing questions from physics , chemistry, biology, general studies, aptitude and reasoning .
