A beautiful life in Shiv Nadar University

Although my friends have told about increasing fees in the university each year due to competency of the course in the university, I avail full scholarship by Shiv Nadar foundation. There are many types of financial aid provided by college including rural based scholarship and merit based scholarships. Some scholarships are reserved exclusivally for students from certain schools like Vidyagyan, Eklavya school and Navodaya school.

A mixed bag of college life

I haven't paid any fees so far. I am given financial aid by the univerisity which i reserved for students studied in Vidyagyan School. There are many types of scholarship provides by the college. Some of which includes merit based scholarship, Rural based scholarship and also scholorship exclusive for students coming from the schoold like Eklavya school, Navodaya, Vidyagyan school etc.

Shiv Nadar Univeristy Review

I pursued my B.Tech from Shiv Nadar University in Electronics and Communication Engineering. My overall fee structure was around 16.8 lacs, In the initial year my fees was around 4.70 lacs which includes 25K security deposit(refundable) and 25k admission fees and rest 3 years my fees was around 4.20 lacs. There are many scholarships available in SNU, based on your JEE score and 12th score as well. If you talk about JEE Scholarship, you can get upto 50-80% of scholarship and on 12th basis your parents anual salary should be in a particular range.

The Real College Experience

I paid 425000 for the first sem I was entering. The most important aspect of SNU is the fact that you can avail of scholarships and other financial aid based on merit . Since I am a BA English student, I didn't have to pay lab fees but for Science and Math majors they had to submit a payment for this.

The yearly fee structure for tution is around 7 lakh for the engineering courses. The fees for the hostel is around 2 lakhs which includes mess and accomodation. There are scholarships available for those who score above 95% in boards as well as those who have excelled I. Sports. There is also a scholarship for wards of army personnel.

There are scholarships available for high performers in board exams. 95 percent and above and for sports achiever. The fees for engineering is around 7 lakhs.
