- It has a sports complex- both indoor and outdoor, a large beautiful library, canopies, greenery all over, flower beds, a beautiful lake, and whatnot.
- Notable brands such as cognizant, dell, amazon visit the campus for recruitments and recruit enthusiastically as they trust the snu brand and its ability to attract good talent.
- You want enjoyment, placement,a perfect college life snu is for you.
Dislikes
- It's relatively new hence the alumni network is still developing (not a bad thing) but for the time being there is a limited network
- There is little bit chaos to choose electives.
- Ragging here is completely banned and no senior even dares to do so, but in my opinion some amount of ragging should be allowed as it enhances your bond with the seniors.

- College infrastructure is so good, there’s everything hygienic and clean.
- education system is very systematic and teachers are very good.
- Almost every facilities are available in the campus

- water quality is bad in hostels, very hard water
- Some lab assistants are rude, but you can just ignore them
- Btech programs schedule is hectic. For other programs, its good.

Placement Experience:
Usually after 3rd sem, students star getting internships. And for compaines visiting our college, except amazon (they blacklisted us). Almost every top companies do visit the college.
Highest package was 59LPA, and the average for cse is 12-13Lpa.
99% students get placements.
Many students goes abroad for mtech after graduating from snu, i'd like to do the same but after getting a year or two job experience.

Placement Experience:
The placement record for the college is average. As far as I know most students gets placed with high or low package as per their capabilities. There is a platform called superset on which students regularly gets information about job vacancies within companies and easily apply through it. There is Career Development Centre that have a bunch of career mentor who personally guide students about their career opportunities. I am personally not planning to do job after completing my degree. I would persue government job and therefore would like to prepare fro competitive exams like Union Public Service Commission.

- I like the faculty of the college. My professors are very friendly and helpful.
- I also like the canteen of the college that is names as Arcade.
- Lastly I like the tuck shop very much in the college because it contained all the neccessary items at affortable prices there.
Dislikes
- I dislike the places that are mostly crowded. I sometimes dislike the Dining Halls when they are filled with people and I don't get place to sit there.
- I also dislike the food sometimes. Especially the food given on special occasion like Diwali, Holi etc. Nevethless I like the sweets given on the fests.
- I also dislike the PDA shown by students at public places especially in library.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I would rate course curriculum as not satisfactory because we are loaded with so many core courses in first two years of the college which were meant to provide the basics of the history and then in next two years we are given electives to choose from which I find useful. I would suggest at least to give one more semester for comprehending the basics of the history.

We have to do ccc, uwe, internships and for completing credit requirements and also we can do minor in any field and take any course we like to do, so it is flexible, comprehensive, reliable and worth the future

- Shiv Nadar University has great infrastructure, very well educated professors(specially from iit's and top colleges), great mess food and a huge sports complex
- SNU offers wide variety of students from each part of the country, we have also some students which are from other countries which make an enviourment full of joy and calmness.
- SNU's Sports facilities is one of the best thing i had liked about. It provides training of almost each and every sports which is available in the premises.
Dislikes
- Less crowd as per the area of the college, around 2000 students are in the college for a 285 acres vast campus like university
- Minimum Shops inside college premisis, around 3-4 shops inside college, I think which is not good as per the college size.
- Can improve medical facility as per the college infrastructure.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is preety good.
Professors provide notes and also give a good knowledge about their particular courses.
The difficulty level of exams could be sometime lies between easy to moderate and sometimes may be lies between moderate to hard level as well.

- The approach of the university members to make sure the newcomers(first-years) are felt at home.It enabled the students to engage in the campus activitie with a more secure presence of mind.
- The mess food is filled with tasty and nutritious food.
- The faculty members are very approachable .
Dislikes
- The cultural shock and the experience of a major transition .
- The overly exploited freedom and the carefree attitude of students towards concerning things.
- The distance of the college from major entertaining spots in the city such as malls, theatres and restaurants.
Placement Experience:
The students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards. The students are usually procuring placements from large companies like Bajaj, HCL and Tommy Hilfiger.My plans after getting the Under graduate degree is to focus on getting into a good college abroad for further studies.

- The campus is located away from the city which causes issues.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course work is highly relevant and updated. I believe this would be helpful for me since I plan on pursing masters later on. Blthe exams are conducted twice each semester and quizes are conducted regularly.

- Batch sizes are kept small which allows professors to give more attention to each student.
- The campus is large and infrastructure is allow great which includes state of the art sports facilities and laboratories.

- The campus is far away from city and lacks connectivity
- The library is a bit small as compared to other universities.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The reason that I chose this course was because it is a research based program and offer greater emphasis on research. The happen twice each semester and curriculum is relavant to the course. This along with good internship and semester exchange opportunities offers a great real world experience to all students.

- The food is decent. The menu is vast and the mess opens 5 times in a day
- The campus is really big and not to forget, beautiful
- All amenities that a student might need to set up their home away from home are available in side the campus
Dislikes
- Security is too strict. It forces a restriction
- The campus being big is also a downside as commuting from senior hostels to academic blocks where classes are held are very long and tiring, specially in the summer
- Commuting inside the vast campus is very irritating as even golf carts are limited in number

A lot of universities offer placements but none like shiv Nadar.
They have more than 100 companies coming in for placements and I am very sure, anyone reading this would be extremely excited to work with all the big companies that come to campus for placement

One of my friends attended Shiv Nadar University. She loved the time she spend on campus.
Academics:
The course curriculum and grading system are designed in such a way that, you won’t be able to slack off. The campus seniors have taken a great initiative to decrease the academic load of juniors through the LASC program. Through this program, seniors teach important topics, resolve doubts and also help juniors plan out preparation strategies for examinations.
Ranking:
Shiv Nadar University ranking - It was ranked 84 by NIRF 2021.
Extra-Curricular:
As a student of SNU, you will get to take part in seminars, conferences and meet a lot of delegates. There are also many club activities. You should take part in at least one club during your time on campus.
SNU college fest, BREEZE gets better with each coming year. Friendly intercollege competitions and events are organized by the clubs of SNU.
Hostels:
There are ac and non-ac hostel accommodations. Each hostel has proper housekeeping and trash disposal facilities. Hostels also have laundry services. There are round-the-clock first-aid and medical assistance provided.
Food offered at SNU is good. You can also order in from eateries outside.
Placements:
SNU has a good placement record. During the 2021 placement drive, the average and highest CTC offered was INR 7.82 LPA and INR 24 LPA.
Overall, you can expect to have a good experience at SNU.
