- It has a sports complex- both indoor and outdoor, a large beautiful library, canopies, greenery all over, flower beds, a beautiful lake, and whatnot.
- Notable brands such as cognizant, dell, amazon visit the campus for recruitments and recruit enthusiastically as they trust the snu brand and its ability to attract good talent.
- You want enjoyment, placement,a perfect college life snu is for you.
Dislikes
- It's relatively new hence the alumni network is still developing (not a bad thing) but for the time being there is a limited network
- There is little bit chaos to choose electives.
- Ragging here is completely banned and no senior even dares to do so, but in my opinion some amount of ragging should be allowed as it enhances your bond with the seniors.

- The campus is really pretty. It is very green and beautiful.
- The library is centrally air conditioned and is a very relaxing place to be in.
- The hostels are nice and cute and the meals are also great.
Dislikes
- The placement outcomes are not what you would've hoped for.
- Due to the location, it is very annoying to travel 3 hours to be in central Delhi.
- The curfew of entering the campus by 9PM is annoying at times.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose the course as I had an interest in the subject. Moreover, with the ongoing technological push, it felt like a safe choice.
The student-faculty ratio would be around 1:20
The faculty are mostly PHD doctors having done their degrees from prominent IITs.
The exams strictly follow the academic calendar released at the start of the term and are doable provided you know the material.

- The campus life is very vibrant and there is always something or the other going on in campus for students to blow off their steam.
- There are a lot of opportunities provided by the university. There is an Atal Incubation centre that helps incubate start up ideas. The CDC helps students irrespective of their year of study find internships
- The campus is very inclusive and the students are given a lot of freedom. We are treated like young adults instead of constant monitoring
Dislikes
- The exams and assignments become overwhelming the frequency with which its held
- The campus is in the middle of nowhere so going to delhi is about a 2 hr drive
- The syllabus is huge and often the professors for the sake of covering it rush during the last classes
Placement Experience:
The campus placement process starts in the 3rd year. A lot of the students opt for further studies so they may not sit for placements.
For a few courses the last semester the students are expected to do an internship while some an expected to write a thesis ( depending on the course).
The placements for the engineering branches are good with median CTCs above 12 LPA.

The placements are quite good as the median salary is almost 8-9 LPA for engineering.
Students become eligible after the 5th semester to sit for internships provided by the college.
The top companies that visit the campus are Goldman Sachs, Adobe, and Dell.
The highest package offered was 31.5 LPA and the average is around 8 LPA.
In engineering, the placement rate is about 94%.

- Campus life - Campus life is happening and it feels good to wake up every morning and looking forward to a good day ahead.
- Faculty and placements - CSE faculty is highly qualified and very professional. Average placement is 12 lpa.
- Infrastructure and sports facilities are very good.
Dislikes
- Very few good food restaurants at the campus.
Placement Experience:
I will become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onward. Tons of good companies visit our campus every year. To name a few, we have Amazon, Amex, Dell, Goldmann Sachs, HP, etc.
The highest package this year is about 55 lpa and the average package is 12 LPA and the median is 11 LPA.
I guess over 90% of students got placed.
I am hoping to get a good placement after getting the degree.

Placement Experience:
From the 6th semester, students are eligible for placements. All big companies come to SNU for placements few big names are Goldman Sachs, Dell, and HCL .95% of students are placed rest go for higher studies. 8 plus cgpa is recommended for placements. The highest package offered was 48 LPA and the average package varies from branch to branch for CSE it's 16lpa and for ECE it's 14 LPA.
My plan after getting a degree is to pursue MBA.

big companies like google, amazon, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, adobe, Flipkart, just pay, and the postman has come and taken students this year. the average of the packages is around 15l

- The research oppurtunities provided (Provided you start connecting with your professors)
- Placements (If you're someone who just wants to get placed with a decent package (10lpa). Then you will get one for sure unless you screw up big time.
Dislikes
- The Grading Scheme (Varies from department to department and at times professor to professor, ECE and CSE don't necessarily have the best reputation for giving good grades
- 75% Attendence. Enough Said
- If you're someone who's easily distracted by events. then you might have a hard time dealing with your studies. Again this depends upon the induvidual
Placement Experience:
I can only speak on behalf of the CSE department. The placements for our branch are good enough (Avg package this year was 14-15 LPA). A lot of good companies like Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley do visit us although not a lot of people get through the early rounds. This bit entirely depends upon the individual as I have seen students from ECE outperform CSE kids at times during placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose CSE as it was a course of interest as I had taken cs in classes 11 and 12th. Almost all the faculty here are Ph.D. holders and are experienced professors. The students in my batch are 160, which is fairly low. Hence, the faculty-student ratio is quite good. You can approach any of the professors, and they will be ready to help you in any way possible.

One of my friends attended Shiv Nadar University. She loved the time she spend on campus.
Academics:
The course curriculum and grading system are designed in such a way that, you won’t be able to slack off. The campus seniors have taken a great initiative to decrease the academic load of juniors through the LASC program. Through this program, seniors teach important topics, resolve doubts and also help juniors plan out preparation strategies for examinations.
Ranking:
Shiv Nadar University ranking - It was ranked 84 by NIRF 2021.
Extra-Curricular:
As a student of SNU, you will get to take part in seminars, conferences and meet a lot of delegates. There are also many club activities. You should take part in at least one club during your time on campus.
SNU college fest, BREEZE gets better with each coming year. Friendly intercollege competitions and events are organized by the clubs of SNU.
Hostels:
There are ac and non-ac hostel accommodations. Each hostel has proper housekeeping and trash disposal facilities. Hostels also have laundry services. There are round-the-clock first-aid and medical assistance provided.
Food offered at SNU is good. You can also order in from eateries outside.
Placements:
SNU has a good placement record. During the 2021 placement drive, the average and highest CTC offered was INR 7.82 LPA and INR 24 LPA.
Overall, you can expect to have a good experience at SNU.
