- The campus is beautifully designed and laid out with huge green spaces and a "green" campus
- The teaching staff is of great academic credibility with multiple publications and writings under every professor
- One can get almost everything of daily needs within the campus, alongwith multiple places to eatout other than the mess
Dislikes
- Turnstiles in hostel causes difficulty in going to other hostels where your friends live, you are allowed to enter but you have to make entries
- Multiple restrictions on students to do certain activities
- Irregularities in caddy timings causing trouble to students in mobility
Course Curriculum Overview
1. this course aligned with my career plans for automitve engineering. 2. this curriculum prepares to turn me into a industry-ready mechanical engineer 3. classes could be started a little late as my batchmates and i have 8 am classes everyday 4. it is not very difficult if the student studies beforehand but it would be of great help if the exams are kept farther away as sometimes we have 2 exams on the same day.
Internships Opportunities
1. there are not specific list of companies that come for internship but notable ones are Google, Microsoft, etc. stipend can range from 10000-60000. 2. projects depend on profile of the internship and the trainee
Placement Experience
1. after 6th semester 2. bain and company, eny, tata, mahindra, etc.. almost everyone from a batch gets placed. 3. highest 55LPA and average package would be around 9L. 4. 80% 5. moving to germany for masters

1. breeze (feb), surge (nov), cultural fest (oct) 2. huge variety and available all the time 3. charging ports, fans, ACs, dustbins, window shades 4. mutliple sport options (cricket, volleyball, basketball, football, tennis, table tennis, chess, pool, wall climbing, martial arts, squash, athletics) 5. there are multiple and they impact student life in a positive way as students find things to take the stress off
Hostel Facilities
1. AC, table, bed, side stool for bed, chair, study desk, lamp, almirah, wooden shelf 2. meal quality is pretty decent as compared to what i heard about other colleges and hostel. the mess is catered by sodexo 3. it is done at the time of admission 4. no locality, it is mandatory to take a hostel.
Admission
1. i applied to many colleges in ncr, and i got into amity, jiit, jindal, ashoka. i chose this college as it is heavily focused on reasearch and is famous for its renowned teaching staff in my industry. 2. i did not get rejected by any private college i applied to in ncr. 3. eligibilty is 65% aggregate in class 12 boards. exams accepted are CUET, SNUSAT, SATs, JEE MAINS. exam most preferred is SNUSAT. cutoff is not usually released if a person is selected he/she gets an offer letter othewise they are rejected. overall admission experience was good.
Faculty
1. Student faculty ratio is 20:1 and professors are extremely approachable. 2. ajit kumar - he has a unique way of teaching 3. amitabh chatterjee - he is very strict and weird in his own ways 4. everything depends on the course structure. no. of exams are based on whether the courses taken by a student has a midterm/endterm or neither.
Night Life
1. gym (8:45PM), indoor cafeteria (12AM), outdoor cafeteria (4AM) 2. hostel curfew timings for 1st year - 12 AM. no curfews for students 2nd year onwards. 3. outside - mahesh dhaba, adarsh dhaba, mitran da dhaba, old town cafe (these are party places, where students go out to drink and have good times. a weekly DJ is also organsised at adarsh dhaba where one of the students plays his DJ set.
