Students have to sit for placements from the 7th semester onwards. Nearly all big companies like Amazon, Deloitte, etc. visit the campus every year. VIT holds the record for maximum placements made on campus.
The average package would be around 4.5 lacs and highest around 36 lacs.
Students should not have any backlogs to sit for placements.

Final year students are eligible for placements. So far I came to know HIPPO VIDEO is the company which is visited and no offers made. The highest package so far is 50 lakh and the average is 6.5 lakh. 95% of people will get placement. I got a placement offer and its easy to crack the interview. Must be strong in basics.
I think so from 3rd-year end students are eligible for placement. Many companys visit our college like Amazon, Infosys, TCS, etc. This time in 2021 7500+ offers was given to vit student. I want to join a company like Amazon and all with gives a package of min 15lakh per annum.
The place is also good 44 L package got one student last year
For CSEBstudent avg package is 10-12 lakhs
For IT is same as CSE
For mechanical or civil avg package is around 5-7 lakhs
CSE placements are very good companies like google Microsoft TCS comes every year
90-100% placements are there most of them are mass recruitment
I want to do MBA after Btech so I will not take part in placements but they are good
If you are in VIT then rest assured you will be placed provided you do not have any backlogs!

VIT holds the limra book of records for the highest placement in a day. The placement ratio is so perfect here, usually, all the students get placement.
