Likes

Its greeny environment is very awesome.SLIET is famous for its infrastructure and one of the best college under government of India.
The highest package offered was INR 18 LPA during placements 2021. However, the highest package of INR 20.30 LPA was offered in 2021.

Dislikes

Nothing is for disliking in here all is very well

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to become an electrical engineer therefore I choose electric engineering. There are many faculties for students' overall development. The exam is taken per semester. Here the teaching method is very impressive.

SLIET: A Modern Gurukul

Likes

I liked the seniors and the clubs and some of the different activities.
Some of the teachers are very helpful and encourage the students.

Dislikes

There is no coding culture in the college.
Some rules are very old and there is always a conflict in students about rules of college.
Most important transportation is not well structured

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem for the degree and 6th for the diploma and 4th sem for the Mtech Students. Placements are about average and this year 2023 the placement ratio is growing faster and about 70 percent of the students from each branch got at least an average package. 20LPA is the highest in the history of SLIET offered by Microsoft. I have already been placed in HCL and Cognizant-like MNCs. So focus on the only job now.

SLIET is heaven, if you can feel it

Likes

Campus Infrastructure and Affoardability of college education
Food, fun and friendship lot of good time spent together made beautiful friends

Dislikes

They can provide some more skills based and practical training
Travel is tough in case of late night there is no directly or regular connectivity and very limited buses.
we have to walk too much to mutiple classes as it's very big campus.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, they can start getting into recruitment. a lot of IT and non-IT companies visited and whoever is interested and tried they definitely got the placements average package can be 2.5 and max to 15 Lacs, 95% of people who are interested can get placed for sure. Just got the three offers and started working in Banglore.

It's evergreen campus and it's location were it is situated
We can get transport facilities from the campus.

Dislikes

Sometimes we are facing the shortage of drinking water in to the hostel

Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the seventh semester onwards. Notable companies like Mahindra and Mahindra, JSW, Torrent Gas, and others have visited the campus for placements.

The campus is very nice specially the green campus welcomes you all.
Labs and workshop are available for the students.
Faculty are very supportive and helpful.

Dislikes

Counselling for thé students who are living inside the hostel.

Final-year students are mainly eligible for thé placement drives. The opportunity provided by the training and placement departments for every semester. 80 percent or more of students get campus placement. The training and placement department worked very hard for students.

Likes

Campus was so maintained and good looking.
Extra curricular activities were organised regularly.
Facilities were helpful in overall development.

Dislikes

Mess food was average for the students and needed improvement.
Location of the college was quite stressful.
Not allowing non veg in the college was very disappointing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The professors were highly qualified and helpful in nature. They guided the students very well. Before getting admitted I got to know this much about the college. As for the curriculum, it was according to the guidelines. Everything in college was according to the college calander.

Likes

All about campus life is better experience with also hostel life.
College is well good with better infrastructure.
Well - qualified faculty and also experienced in field project.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is also need to better develop.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th or 8th semester students are eligible for a campus placements drive. There are no.s of companies are visited directly campus or indirectly means through another college like Vardhman, Mahindra(Swaraj), IBM, Cognizant, Capgemini, Hexaware, etc their highest or average package is 4-5 LPA.

Environment, sliet has got a beautiful environment
Faculty , sliet have many experienced staff members
Different courses available, sliet have vast variety of courses to choose any of it

Placement Experience:

Students are also eligible for job opportunities in diploma time, some students continue their studies. some choose to get a job as well, training and placement cell helps the students for getting placement in companies. The highest package of last year's computer science BE is 18.4 LPA.

The library is well equipped and lots of books and all fields,
You can get lots of scope of playing in campus

Dislikes

Hostel quality is not good for 1st, 2nd year.
Mess food is not good at all and should improve.
Some teachers have rude behaviour with students.

Likes

College campus is very beautiful because many types of tree planted.
College hostel facilities for btech and MTech students good.
And also college infrastructure is very good.

Dislikes

Hostel mess facilities are not good.but ok type food.
In college campus not many options for marketing.
Hostel time table not good because many formalities for students.
