Hostel Facilities:
The hostel of the college provides the student with reading room which is on the ground floor , table tennis room, TV room but tv is not in working condition, mess and a badminton court in between the hostel building . The mess food is average but the good thing is that the mess area is clean and hygienic.
In order to get a hostel room student need to fill registration form of hostel which is done in warden office and then you get a room which includes a bed , tubelight, fan , charging point, electric kettles are not allowed. You can keep cooler but you have to pay 2000 ruppee for a semester. I have never rented a PG room

- The mess food of the hostel are below average level which should be needs to be improved.
Hostel Facilities:
The conditions of the room is not so good it should have to maintaince time to time.The water and electricity is 24/7.
The mess food is not so good because the contracters are from the private ones.The quality of the food is good good only.It charges some around 100 rupees per day.It includes breakfast, lunch and dinner and supper in the alternative days.
At the admission time u have to fill the form for the hostel living.You can also choose as a day scholar.
As there is no any pg or room around the college so almost all the students are the hostellers and few of them are locals which are the day scholars.

Hostel Facilities are good but, mess food is average. In 1st and 2nd year we get triple sharing room and In 3 year you may get single seater room according to your CGPA till 2nd year and In 4th year each student get single seater room.
Taking hostel is compulsory for each and every student.

- There is fixed timing for girls hostel.its closes at 7pm.any most of the event happened in days.
- Mess food is not so good ,so many student suffered from health issues.
Hostel Facilities:
For 1st and 2nd year student there is single room alloted for 3 student.room size is too good.If your Sgpa is good then you got a single room in third year otherwise you must share your room.all the basis facilities like wifi,fan,light, charging plug provided by college committee.mess food is not so good .mess contractor changed in every semester.it is difficult to got rented a room or pg near by the college because this college completely lies in a village.

The hostel rooms are only in good good condition. There is 24/7 running water and bathrooms are cleaned up regularly.But there is a very big probelm of the birds because it makes your rooms and balcony horrible dirty.
When u r come to the college u have fill the hostel registration form and the fees is so affordable.

- Restrictions on hostel timing for boys it's 10 pm and for girls it's 7 pm
- Non veg food ban inside the campus of college and mess of hostels

Their are pg available outside the campus but students less prefer them because of distance of 5 km.

We have 3 seater room with each student is allotted with their personal almirah, bed, chair and a common balcony in each room.
Each hostel has a mess which is run by contractors, fee of the mess is 3000 per month. Meal is provided 3 times per day - breakfast (bread, butter,jam,tea,milk, egg, paratha) , lunch and dinner

Hostel Facilities:
For first and second year students, a 3 seater room is alloted (room has 3 beds, 2 fans, 3 chairs, a shelf, a common bulb). The room is average but when fee is considered (4000 per semester, it is great).
Every hostel has it's own mess where food is provided by contractors. We get breakfast, lunch, evening tea and dinner. The mess fee is 3000 per month which we pay directly to the mess contractors, the food quality is just below average. It is necessary to eat in mess if you are a hosteller, you need to pay the mess fee even if you are not eating the food.
If you want to rent a pg , you can get it in 1000-2000 per month in Longowal (3 km from the campus).

Meal quality is nice and menu changes as per students. As you get admitted in the hostel you don't need to go for another process to apply for mess food. The food is quite affordable as it only charges 100 rupees per day for 3 time meal.

Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET) was deemed to be a university approved by AICTE. It has been ranked 137 for BTech by NIRF 2020. It is an autonomous institute located at Sangrur, Punjab. SLIET has separate hostels facilities on-campus for boys and girls.
