• ICD Round I Token Fee Deadline — Today (May 28, 2026): Candidates allotted a seat in ICD Round I (declared May 23, 2026) must pay the ₹5,000 seat-acceptance token fee by today. This amount is adjustable against the final institute fee. Failure to pay will forfeit the allotted seat.

SLIET SET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The SLIET SET 2026 eligibility criteria are different for each programme. Check the requirements for your specific programme carefully before applying.

ICD Programme (3-Year) — SET-I

• You should have passed Class 10 from a recognized State Board, CBSE, ICSE, National Open School, or equivalent board
• English, Mathematics, and Science are compulsory subjects in Class 10
• There is no minimum percentage requirement — passing Class 10 is sufficient
• There is no upper age limit for ICD admission

ICD Lateral Entry (2nd Year) — SET-IA

• Must have passed Class 10 (English, Mathematics, and Science compulsory)
• Must have passed a full-time 2-year ITI Certificate / 10+2 (Vocational) in a relevant trade with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) from a Government or Semi-Government institute
• Must have 2 years of industrial experience in the relevant trade after completing the ITI/Certificate course

B.E. (Lateral Entry — 2nd Year) and Integrated M.Tech. (Lateral Entry) — SET-III

• Must have passed a full-time 3-year Diploma in Engineering/Technology from an AICTE-approved polytechnic affiliated with any State Board of Technical Education, or from SLIET itself
• Minimum aggregate: 55% marks or CGPA 5.5 on a 10-point scale (or equivalent)

ICD (Integrated Certificate-Diploma) — Unique to SLIET

The ICD is SLIET’s most distinctive offering — available only at this institute and no other central technical institution in India. Class 10 students enter after SET-I and progress through a Certificate (1 year) and a Diploma (2 more years). ICD graduates can directly enter B.E. 2nd year at SLIET.
