Food, fun and friendship lot of good time spent together made beautiful friends

Dislikes

They can provide some more skills based and practical training
Travel is tough in case of late night there is no directly or regular connectivity and very limited buses.
we have to walk too much to mutiple classes as it's very big campus.

It was a mistake happened to my side as I should have taken computer science as it was really great as I have been in electrical engineering so OK, The number of faculty is enough and most of them are well-learned There are 2 minor and 1 major semister.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, we tried a lot of multiple opportunities offline and online but one of the professors from the humanities department helped a lot to get into a good internship which was into Vardhman Special Steels. and it was a great opportunity.

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, they can start getting into recruitment. a lot of IT and non-IT companies visited and whoever is interested and tried they definitely got the placements average package can be 2.5 and max to 15 Lacs, 95% of people who are interested can get placed for sure. Just got the three offers and started working in Banglore.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study is really effective, can get this affordable price anywhere in India. the facility wise it is top-notch, and it is bigger than the IIT-D campus which is 351 acres. I tried many times to get a scholarship from UP state govt. but never got anything. no support but thankfully I got an Education loan.

Campus Life

College in Punjab and Sangrur district, and the campus is so green and dam beautiful and facility wise it's very rich. it has 10 huge hostels and gyms all the sports campus and neat roads, a shopping complex and many more

Eligibility is JEE Mains Online applied for JEE online, The Cutoff was low during my time Yes OBC category reservation I have received, and it was not much different than the General rank They should start considering JEE score also not only rank

Four Years of Growth , Grit and Glory

Placement Experience:

In Chandigarh University you are being elligible to sit in the placement from the end of the 6th semester . A large no. of companies visit the unversity daily for all type of departments talking about my department , companies like Zopasmart , JTG , EY , JP Morgan , TCS , Cognizant , Deloite and many other companies came for the college comapnies with ann average comapny selected upto 10 -12 students . Till now the highest package offered is 37 LPA for the role of software developer . Talking about the no. of students placed from the total students in the batch i would say less then 30% percent of the total students have been placed from the university campus placements till now . Curently i am also focusing on the campus placements to get a start to know more about the corporate world , If i am unable to get a campus placement the i ll go for offline interviews and spends 4 to 5 years in the field after that i ll start my own buisness .

Placement Experience:

There are many campus placements in my college. Students become eligible for campus placement from the 6th semester, and major companies start coming during 7th and 8th semesters. Major reputed companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant and Accenture visit the campus every year and offer good number of job to students . The highest package of my college is 3.5 cr. The average package for CSE students ranges between 4 to 6 LPA depending upon the company and students skill. Profile offered include software developer, data analyst.A good percentage of eligible students get placed every year as the university provides proper training, mock interviews,and skill development programs. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good placement through campus recruitment. Later I may also consider for showing higher studies.

True experience of a SLIET Student

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied for several colleges and got selected for IIFPT Thanjavur and GGU Bilaspur but I wanted to study mechanical engineering and out of all options, this college was best known for its mechanical engineering course and lab facilities. Internship apportunities in SLIET, Longowal

I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
