Things I appreciate about my collage is system is very good .
Social intersection is good for those who takes part in extra curricular activites
According to all the teachers are good .

Dislikes

Things I dislike about lpu is there us no uniform , student judge each othere on the basis of clothing and i think it should be changed
Fees increases every year by 10k for hostelers.
Population of this collage is hugh and i think it should be reduced

Placement Experience:

Placements of lpu is good only if u out efforts by yourself because generally hundereds of company vist to compas but selects only the top students ,i.e about 50% ,highest placement received is about 64LPU and not 3crore.

placement for other branch are very good , students are prepared well and every year ratio of placement is very good
campus life is like homely feeling , full security and protection and happy environment , medical facility , high speed wifi
all faculties are best and labs are fully equipped , they provide life skills good mental support

Dislikes

hostel ragging and some staffs mentality , they act like they are god
time limit for hostel , decreasing ration of company for placement
teachers should focus on every student not on any personal favourite

Get a quick journey through the entire campus life of LPU

Campus Infrastructure is pretty good. We've got a 600 something acres for a campus....... So you can explore for all 4 years of your college.
The diversity that you get to see here is incredible. You will see people from different countries not just India .. so you get to learn about their culture as well.
We've got a lot of faculties here like a lot of huge playgrounds, canteens in every hostel, salons in girls hostels, incredible mess and laundry services, a number of gyms both paid and free and a mall as well

Dislikes

The attendance criteria is very strict for it to be between 70-75 percent at least. Sometimes it's very difficult to maintain the attendance.
There are a huge number of students just in the cse branch only... So sometimes it gets too crowded after the classes.
The leave system I personally don't like it very much... Since every time you need to go somewhere you need to fill a lengthy leave form... Then talk to you parents etc. etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Firstly, I chose LPU majorly because of the availability of CSE branch in BTech because there is a huge crowd when it comes to CSE. I think the curriculum here is pretty good... You get your assignments on the UMS platform... And a lot of competitions and workshops happen regularly which are very helpful at times. I think the area of improvement could be bringing more practical explanation into the picture... That would help a lot. During the first semester, I felt that the frequency and timings of exams is very fast and it will be very difficult to handle but now that I am used to it... I feel a little pressure is also important so that we can push ourselves to be better.

I completed BTech CSE from LPU back in 2016. You might say that LPU has changed since then, but I am still in touch with my juniors and here is my experience:

Placements: More than 550+ MNCs and startups visit the LPU campus for placement. In recent news, Yasir M., student of LPU, grabbed an offer of INR 3 crore in Germany. The highest CTC offered for the engineering programs at LPU is INR 42 LPA.
Scholarships: People might think LPU is pricey since it is a private colleges, but LPU provides scholarships to bright students with good academic records, good track record in sports, or extracurricular activities. LPU also helps students in the education loan facility.
Research: In terms of research, Stanford University has ranked almost 13 LPU faculty members amongst the top 2% of scientists in the world.
Faculty: The faculty members are from top institutes like IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities globally.

I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-

The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.

Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.

This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.

Being a graduate from LPU, I found the campus life quite joyful as everyone in the university is supportive. I liked the following things about the University:
