All about my College

Likes

Good enviornment for study. Healthy relationship between students and teachers
Lots of opportunities to experience various sectors.
Placement services are there it is good for the students.

Dislikes

Semester fee is Little bit high for all type of students.
Hostels fees are also too much to afford.
Sometimes due to much population of students sometimes they failed to maintain.

Placement Experience:

Placement services are very good . Our placement conduct placement classes also which are very helpful for the students whom are preparing for placements. Internships are there through intership one can get job also .

City like campus, and very clean. All the necessary facilities available within the campus. Very safe environment with high level security.
Conducts a lot of extra curricular activities like sports, cultural activities, workshops, educational trips. Very interactive and helpful faculties with good mentorship.
Provides placement and internship to almost all the students, and conducts seminars Related to higher studies.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placement and internship from the 5th semester. A lot of reputed companies recruit from the university like Dabur, etc. Almost 90% of the students who sit for placement get them. The university also conducts placement classes for the students

An actual review of B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture offered by Lovely Professional University

Likes

First of all, the main thing is infrastructure. They have very good facility for all the things that you can imagine in a good campus and college.
Second is the diverse culture in the campus. You can meet many international students within the campus.
Third is the hostel facilities. These are well equipped with a student's daily need.

Dislikes

The level of education is quite good in this college but specifically for my course which is B.Sc (Hons.) Agriculture, the practical exposure is very less.
Examination evaluation system is not that good. Sometimes u get a gross mark which will be lower than your expectation.

Placement Experience:

From starting of 4th year, students get internships and job offers. For our subject, we get some big companies like Bayer CropScience, Tata Rallis, DCM Shriram, Dhakuka Agritech etc with average package of 4 lacs. The highest package for our subject is 20 lacs. Around 80% of students who opt for placement services got their placement. My plan is to do an MBA after completion of my degree.

Placement Experience:

After joining you can opt for placements and average placements is good and depending on stream your and how many years for your course and then you will be eligible for placements. Avg package-4.5-6laks per annum. Placements will 96%. My plans are preparing for master.

Large Number of people in one campus around 25k

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course in this university bcoz it was ICAR accreditated ( theonly private college to attain ). Curriculum was based on real Practical life practices as taught in theory . Difficulty level of Exams are Medium to hard mostly due to the course of negative marking Exam conduction is on point .

LPU - more than just a campus

Likes

Lpu has good infrastructures and has a good food court. It also conducts pre placement classes.
Lpu also gives more opportunities for cultural activities and sports.
Lpu has students from all over India and other countries,, which makes it more diverse and beautiful.

Dislikes

Lpu is very strict on the attendance criteria.
Also there is excessive peer pressure to get placed.
The fee structure of lpu is also a bit high.

Placement Experience:

students can opt for placements after 2nd year. Some of the highest packages offered were 20 -25 lakhs per annum And average is 5-8 lakhs per annum. Above 20-30% of students get placements from agriculture batches.

Good college for all students.teacher are very nice
Teaching process is very good.rooms are also good.
All classes are very nice.foods are good

Some students are not good maybe that's their culture
Some place are unclean especially toilet
Room rent is too heavy for me and fee for course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is good for me and I love the subject so I choosed it then their teaching was very nice the teachers also good and they teach us very carefully. The frequency and timing of exam are very good for me.

I liked library, and there is my studied

Girls restroom sometimes are not good, more time i informed

BEST OF LOVELY PROFESSIONAL UNIVERSITY

Likes

Campus life, students, faculties , facilities.
Campus drive placements , Branded food franchise like subway dominos
Large campus , Ac classes , projectors in classes , quality education

Dislikes

Long lasting classes timigs , sometimes working on Saturdays
Wearing of Uniform for 3 days a week and many more
Canteen sometimes having things mostly out of stock.

Placement Experience:

From 3 semester students become eligible for campus placements . There are many companies that visit there for placements like Wipro High beam Global , Verka , Sun Pharma , Rebel etc. They select over 20-30 students from a department. Highest package given by the company was 15 lakh per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to apply for placements.

I completed BTech CSE from LPU back in 2016. You might say that LPU has changed since then, but I am still in touch with my juniors and here is my experience:

Placements: More than 550+ MNCs and startups visit the LPU campus for placement. In recent news, Yasir M., student of LPU, grabbed an offer of INR 3 crore in Germany. The highest CTC offered for the engineering programs at LPU is INR 42 LPA.
Scholarships: People might think LPU is pricey since it is a private colleges, but LPU provides scholarships to bright students with good academic records, good track record in sports, or extracurricular activities. LPU also helps students in the education loan facility.
Research: In terms of research, Stanford University has ranked almost 13 LPU faculty members amongst the top 2% of scientists in the world.
Faculty: The faculty members are from top institutes like IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities globally.

I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-

The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.

Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.

This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.

Being a graduate from LPU, I found the campus life quite joyful as everyone in the university is supportive. I liked the following things about the University:

Students get success in placements based on their learning and skills provided by the University. The University trains the students to grab high-quality job offers.
LPU receives numerous companies for placements, although only a fraction of students secure high-paying offers, partly due to the large student population.
LPU's campus can accommodate its many students, with classes divided into manageable sizes for effective teaching.
The university's popularity is high due to its large student population from different regions of India.
LPU offers international exposure to students from foreign countries, enhancing language skills through interaction.
LPU maintains a strict anti-ragging policy and provides a secure environment with extensive CCTV surveillance.
Non-vegetarian food is strictly prohibited on campus, reflecting the university's policies.
LPU provides a platform for personal growth and learning, although it may not suit those solely focused on academics.
Online resources supplement classroom learning, addressing potential gaps in teaching quality.
