Likes

The faculty professors are very nice and have immense knowledge in their field of study and are good at teaching.
University provide different kind of scholarships like merit scholarship, students award etc.
Hostel facility is very good clean and neat which included wifi facility recreational activities with badminton corts and table tennis

Dislikes

The infrastructure is very poor, and library service also very poor. Because there is no much space for every students only very less space there.
Summer's are pathetic, you will get burnt
Most of the long lectures happen from 10am to 8 pm it is very stressful and discusting. We don?? have enough time to get for other stuffs.

Campus is green and Classrooms are neat and clean.
Lab facilities are very advanced and highly paid softwere are available.
Professors are well qualified and supportive.

Dislikes

Course curriculum are very tough and hectic.
University is not in city area it is located in village.
University medical services are not good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course curriculum is based on National Education Policy (NEP) . Only in this university we have whole one year desertation work and the tracher to student ratio is 1:3 which is very helpful for students.

Likes

Campus life is really good without too many restrictions.
Campus is Very clean and green envionment and nature friendly.
Mess food is very really good and hygenic.

Dislikes

Medical facility is not very good and shortage of doctor.
Venomous snakes are there in campus and there is not antivenom in campus.
Library is good but very small and in exam time there is no seat.

Placement Experience:

It is research based university which manily focus on research so placements is not that empresive mainly students goes for higher studies after completing. Some department like computer science and pharma department give placement of average pakage 4 LPA. Probably I will go for higher studies.

Environment of University was amazing. All the students respect each others and specially the seniors are very helpfull there. You can learn a lot of things there.
The best thing about cupb is there are a lot students are from south part of india.
If you want to learn about different different parts of india then you should go to cupb.

Dislikes

There are not such things that we can dislike. University is totally new so the shops are very less there.
If you have to buy things you have to go outside the campus .
And sometimes you have to go bathinda to buys things.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the course is well and good . If you suggest any change in that faculty will listen you and they think about that plan. Faculty also thing about the competition that we have to face after our course.

Academically university is very good especially our department- Geology. In our department boys and girls are equal ratio but total college take girsl ratio is high
It is very useful to interact other states students . Actually it is good for improving our social life and it will change our perspectives also
The faculties are are friendly and very approachable . We can share everything at every time .

Dislikes

The infrastructure is very poor, and library service also very poor. Because there is no much space for every students only very less space there.
So many students stay outside so hostel also there have less space for students.
Most of the long lectures happen from 10am to 8 pm it is very stressful and discusting. We don’t have enough time to get for other stuffs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exam pattern of university is boring because consecutive exams are very stressful to us. Consecutive exam happen there not get enough time to study well and perform the exams that is the main reason for difficult of subjects And also some teachers lectures are very boring the way of teaching is boring and long lectures it took continuous 1-4 hours. It is too boring and we can't concentrate on that subject

The college provides best faculties, good labs and field training. and

They must provide more samples and other facilities to the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus is vast and we are unable to cover from every part. The timetable schedule is also very long sometime we could not get enough time to manage. They must provide some study materials for the skill of students for those who prepare for competitive examination.

Wonderful land with positives and negatives

The main thing is the faculty, they all are very good and helping. They even understand our problems and I can ask even a single doubt to them as they don't see us a msc student.
The next thing is that the clean environment in the campus. The workers will clean the building and every places neatly every time.
The hostel room, I like and from the balcony, it provide good view. As I am a malayali, I can now understand different regional languages and Hindi little bit

Dislikes

The hostel bathrooms are not that much clean and it doesn't have the necessary items that we need in a toilet.
Even though the faculty is helping, some teachers are just putting ppt to complete their part before exams.
The climate is very hard to survive. Here in June and July, experience the most hot climate, while in December, January, february period experience heavy winter and that's in time of exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually, the seniors told me that the department faculty is good and central university of Punjab is really nice. That's why I opt this course and also I have studied my bsc this subject and I was very fond of this subject. Teachers should understand what the students know and should think that we are not as much thoughtful and knowledgeable as them. Three surprise tests are not needed I think. One will be enough. This is making us so tired. One teacher takes class upto 8 or 9 in the night. That also make us tired. That should be changed.

A short review about Central University of Punjab

Likes

The labs are highly facilitated with high level equipments
Library and computer center facilities is too good,
Professors are highly educated witj PHd and their research labs in the University is high-tech with all the equipments, and their research topic are highly relevent ones.

Dislikes

Infrastructure of University is need to Improve
Labs are very conjusted with high facilities. So need to improve the space.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exam donot increase the stress because the last sem exam various course curriculum activities like term paper, assignments, presentations etc, so tue final. Result of the combination of marks from all these.

Truth about university

Likes

My university has a good atmosphere for studies. Teachers are so dedicated in their teaching.
University is providing high facilities like medical Center, library
People here are of very friendly in nature.

Dislikes

The water provided here is not good for it, even though it is a purified one
Academic stress is there. We have to do a lot of work in a single day
Somedays we have to sit on class upto 8:30 pm, it feels stress.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For my course they are providing both theory and field work classes. The syllabus is difficult. All the faculty teaches in agood manner. Timings of the exam is too short as we cant prepare eell for our exams

Proffesors are so good and teaching is good,
Campus have lot of e rickshaw so the transortation at a time anywhere will be just 5-10
Animal friendly atmosphere and dogs are so nice here

Dislikes

The weather here in punjab is so bad extreme heat and cold
Food may be iam from kerala and of havibg different cuisine
Classtime is actually 9-5 and sometimes its more than that like classses till 7 and more

Tje university collectively promote stuudents to engage in research and a very good importance is guven for that so its very good and exposure to various subject relted things are given but the college dontt havee any entertainment of celebration for mass its just the local celebrations that are permitted andd they have huge restrictions on it as well As are offten happens like the surprise test then msst and then est we have a very busy schedule for exams

Village Life

Likes

Same building for every department, so people from every department can meet each other anytime, which also makes it easy to socialize
hostels are nearby, and mixed mess, also seperate one for girls if they want.
the diversity is from all over india. punjab people are less and mallus are majority.

Dislikes

the limitation to enter hostel after a time for girls
girls cannot go outside the campus after 7 pm
the majority teachers are focused to a political party

The course curriculum was good, but some were bachelors level. We should have give more advanced curriculum. Main focus was on research so we cannot say curriculum should be main focus. The timings of exam were favoured by students, so no problem.
