Scholarship like post-matric scholarship, e-medhbruti, kalia scholarship etc are available.
Teachers are well, good and caring. they make us feel like a school.
I like many things in my college. our class room is awesome . i do like very much.. our library is such a good library.

Dislikes

I don't like many things in college. Such worse environment in our college. Always people try to quarrel in with us.
Food of the canteen is very bad also not a single shop is in the 125acres of campus
There is always problem on water and electricity

In my course college doesn't gives us placement since here we have come for just a degree but other college are better options for students searching for job right after the masters. After completion of masters I will be appearing in competitive exams.

IGIT- THE UNEXPECTED OPPORTUNITY WHICH CHANGED MY LIFE

I love this college because it has given us opportunity to excel in sports and for that I was the best batsman of our cricket team

Dislikes

I hate the in -time rule of the hostel. For which we couldn't go out of the campus in the prohibited time.

Placement Experience:

The placement is good here , because since it is a goverment institute. And it has fame in Odisha. Students are paced in different companies like , -: TATA, JINDAL ,JSW, RSP, DELOITTE, VISA STEEL, ADANI , AMNS. Every year more than 500 offers made, and placement percentage is 60%.

IGIT THRUTH VS REALITY

Likes

College campus and is greenery envurinment
Library and its support system and ventilated rooms with ac
Hostels are well hygienated and peaceful

Dislikes

Hostel food is not up to the mark especially veg foods
Nearby markets are not so fascinating and no film thereatre near
May be some seniors may let yiu to do their assignments

Placement Experience:

After 5th sem yku are elegible for placement. Adani group, tcs, Wipro, infosys, and many more companies including every branch comes to hire students. According to me 22 is highest package and 3 is the lowest offered. More than 90% students get placed every year.

STRUCTURALLY SOUND

Likes

College Campus Area size is good. Class room size is also good
Course fee is minimal for core branches civil electrical and mechanical
Placement is good but needs to be more better. Almost electrical engineering students are getting placed. Other branches should be also considered

Dislikes

Infrastructure needs to be improved. And hygiene should be properly maintained
Location and road connectivity of the college is not good
Here weather is unpredictable and worst in summer and monsoon

Syllabus depends on specialization although subjects are common in 1st yr including Maths, phy, chem,mechanics Almost all teachers hold PhDs from IITs and NITs. and are approachable to their students

All technical support in our college campus

Our college campus in not available big ground

I interested computer so I choose computer science and engineering . This time computer science is demanding course and our college is best performance in computer science and engineering.all teacher are good manly good communication students and teachers.fistly Exam is very hard then so careful with your studies then exam result is good .

Engineering life in IGIT

Likes

Campus life is great & faculties here are so friendly.
Clubs & fests are very enjoyable . Environment is always greenary.
College makes sure to get a placement & also provides various training programmes.

Dislikes

The site of college is near industries so it is a litte bit dusty
It is very hot here in summer season which is unbearable.
Some hostels are litte old to live in & outside campus is not that good.

Placement Experience:

Campus also provides placement for students after 6th semester. So many companies are linked here like Tata , Adani , TRL , LNT , TCS , JSW , TGC , Axis Bank , etc Minimum eligibility criteria for attending placements is to get a Cgpa above 6.5 & also 60% in 12th grade.

The faculties are good and supportive. They treat all the students equally. They support, encourage and give opportunity to each and everyone to achieve the dream
The campus is having a lot of facilities. There are varieties of clubs.
The scenic beauty is excellent. The college is having an ample amount of spots where u can feel the enjoy the beauty of nature

Dislikes

As the college is present near mining area the area is always covered with dust which makes people life hectic to live in
There is no market present near the college. A small town is there where we can get the necessary things
There are a lot of wild animals which roam here n there as the location itself is a hill and covered with forest.

Civil is known as the first branch of engineering and it gives the opportunity to make the infrastructure in this modern world in a mordern type. After getting graduate we can get the opportunity to build large infrastructure.

The campus of the college is huge and the faculty are helpful in nature. The fest is also good.

Dislikes

The ratio of boy and girl. The weather is very hot in summer and the rainy season is quite unpredictable.

Placement Experience:

There are many companies like HAL, BSNL , ADANI and etc comes to college every year . After 7th sem the final year eligibile for placement . Highest package is 20LPA and average package is 5LPA. 80% student get placed. Many students applied for gate exam.

Since it's a government autonomous college the placement is decent here. Students are getting placed every year in companies like Tata TCS vedant Jindal Accenture Amazon Adani etc. Last year the overall placed percentage was more than 80. The average package was 5,50,000 and highest package offered was 12.75 lpa.
