Is studying mechanical engineering at IGIT, Sarang good?

One of my friends graduated from IGIT this year. Here are a few things that I got to know about the Mechanical branch at IGIT. Placements: According to the statistics the placement sector is down in almost all colleges of Odisha. Seeing on the placement statistics of past years hardly a core company came for placement in IGIT. Companies like Vedanta, Jindal, and Bhushan did come for the core sector but the probability of students getting selected is not up to the mark. Most mechanical engineers join TCS or Tech Mahindra in IT. Very few of the students get placed in core companies like Vedanta, Jindal, or Bhushan. This same situation can be seen in colleges like VSSUT and CET too. But they arrange some off-campus for mechanical students. Going in other campus placement is good in CET followed by VSSUT than IGIT. But that doesn’t make a big difference. Placement is almost the same in these colleges for core companies. About Mechanical Branch: The mechanical branch is one of the most strict branches of the institute. It has well-equipped labs or workshops and this is something mechanical engineers brag about. IGIT has more reputed and respected professors in mechanical engineering as compared to other colleges. The quality of education is average. It will be better if you opt for CET followed by VSSUT and then IGIT. CET/VSSUT does call mass recruiters as compared to IGIT. IT jobs play the role of saviors since the number of core jobs is quite less. and are not likely to get a boost in near future.

Know the about my collage IGIT sarang, Dhenkanal

The fees of our collage for the period of 4 year is 160000(including all exam fees ) . The hostel is also provided by this collage whose fees for the period of 4 year is 200000.. Placement is average of this collage, approx 35-40% student get job in every branch

I have said all the truth of my college

Our college provides too many scholars scheme for St and Sc and also for General category. Complete four course will take 3 lakh including hostels fee . College also gives loan for study. In college events when win in any function you get some amount of money.

The Heaven of Knowledge

The college being a government college provides a very affordable fee structure along with all the government scholarship facilities. The complete cost of my education will come in about 200000 rupees which is quite low for an Engineering College. There are lot of intership opportunities from the beginning of the course along with proper training and international certification.

The tution fees for all branch is 12000/- except CSE . There are several scholarships provided by the government which may help you to get some benefits in finance and also student Study loan is also provided there in the college campus by SBI Bank.

The fee structure is very simple in the college. We have to pay 28,700 per year and even semester registration fees is 1700 . Students are getting scolarship from different sources like stare and central government. The scolarship given to us by the college are - post -matric , KALIA, E-MEDHA .

IGIT : THE COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

The hostel fees is 45000/- per year. There are so many scholarship available for students by both state and central government.Every year the fees hike by 2-5%.There is bank loan available for the students . The college authorities are helping the students to avail the scholarship and loan. If a student properly focus on studies and score good CGPA then their is a high chances to get good package.

IGIT is the best college so all love this college.

Our fee structure is 28700 and the examination fee is 3500 so the total is 32200. there are many types of scholarships in the BTECH. Also, I got a scholarship in 2nd yr. the amount of the scholarship is very nice.
