An Honest Look at Life and Learning at CV Raman Global University

Fees and Financial Aid:

The university's annual fees were rupees 1,75,000, excluding the hostel accommodations. During the time of joining, we were asked to deposit a sum of rupees 20,000 as a caution fee. We were asked to pay a sum of 3000 rupees as registration fees for every semester, which brings the registration fees to rupees 6000. At the time of joining the institute, all the admission fees, development fees, lab fees, and all the charges that were added were included in the admission fees of rupees 1,75,000. While joining, there was a fee difference depending upon your chosen branch, but no difference based on category, like a few of my friends were from the electrical branch, their fees were rupees 1,70,000. Since I joined college on the basis of merit, I have no idea about the Management, SC, and ST category fees. The college provides financial aid and scholarships such as e-Kalyan and state scholarships. There is merit cum financial aid, which is given to top performers.

Total fees included hostel and exam fee was-6lacs total but due to education loan predefined installment I paid something extra 30k and when I asked management to refund it they respond very unethical despite being eligible for refund institute never refund my money. I followed up multiple times personally and over mail every time management mislead me with false assurance like next week, process is under approval etc Finally when I insist strongly the management response was extremely unethical and rude "DO WHATEVER YOU WANT MANAGEMENT WILL NEVER REFUND YOUR MONEY" I will strongly advise further students and parents to be very careful with fee payment and refunds specially if loan are involved ,don't trust verbal commitment from management -get everything in writing. Overall very frustrating and disappoinng experience.

the tution fees i am paying is 90000 per semester in one year for 2 semester its 180000. The caution fees is 5000rs, registration fees is 500rs, admission fees is 10000rs and all other lab and library all sorts is included in tution fees. As i am from general caste i didnt apply any scholarships

my fees for the academics in 90000rs per semester which is 180000rs per year for 2 semesters also there is separate examination fees of 3000rs per semester, other than this as a hosteller my hostel fee is 40K for a year and mess fees is 4500rs per month. One can apply many scholarships our uni staffs encourage us to take the scholarships

Good college in bhubaneswar

The yearly fees is 91000/- for tuition fees and hostel fees is 60000/- including all development fees and lab fees and many types of scholarship available for merit based and tuition fees deducted for sc and st caste students and also tuition fees is same like out department and every categories the names of scholarship is tfw and the amount is 90000/- for good students.

Value For money college

Honestly, for General category students, it’s a bit on the higher side compared to government colleges but standard for private ones in Bhubaneswar. 1st Year: I paid around ?1,15,000. 2nd - 4th Year: It drops slightly to about ?1,10,000 per year. Fee Breakdown: The structure is a bit cluttered. The main Tuition Fee is about ?90,000. Admission Fee: ?10,000 (One time). Caution Money: ?5,000 (Refundable after 4 years, hopefully!). Registration/Exam Fees: ?2,500 per semester. Development & Lab Fees: Included in the yearly total, roughly ?15,000 combined. Uniform/Blazer: Charged separately in the first year, approx ?6,000. Fees for Batchmates (Other Categories): SC/ST Students: My friends in these categories pay almost nothing from their pockets. They have to pay the initial admission fees (around ?25k-30k), but they get almost the entire amount back through state scholarships. TFW (Tuition Fee Waiver): If you get in through the TFW quota, you only pay the development and exam fees, so their yearly cost is just around ?30,000 - ?40,000. Scholarships The college has a cell to help with these, mainly: Prerana Scholarship: This is the big one for SC/ST/OBC students from Odisha. e-Medhabrutti: This is purely merit-based for Odisha students (approx ?10k/year). e-Kalyan: A lot of my batchmates from Jharkhand use this.

Basically the course fees was 1.75 lakhs during 2022 but now it became 3 lakhs per year but if you belong to sc or at category then you can avail scholarships from your first yr onwards . You have to apply for scholarships from your first year onwards otherwise you will not be eligible
