The faculty student ratio is good like not bad and teachers are very helpful and make are friendly to talk exceptions are there too. Can't name any faculties but there are very nice teachers . Few are like often considered as hitler. Exams are moderately difficult one can ace by studying a day before the exam. almost 30 to 40 percent people fail in exams

The faculty of this college is very intelligent and they treat all the students equally. Mr Sudharshan sahu is our best faculty,he teaches english and because of his experience of so many years,he teaches very well and with fun. Everyone is afraid of Mrs nilima mam not because she is very strict but she teaches us engineering mechanics,which can be said to be a tough subject. There are 2 semisters in a year and there are 4 internals in each semister.the exam is not difficult but it will definitely seem difficult to those who do not study anything.

Life at NIST

Faculty:

Many faculties are very helpful and supportive. Few teachers have very close relation with the students. The student facullties ratio in our uni is very good actually like 2-3 sections have same teachers and rest 2-3 have other so the ratio is good. Many faculties were considerate and kind i dont want to disclose their names. Few faculties i didn't like because of miscommunication like few have some distinct accents which i hard to understand sometimes. As for the examination there is 2 semester per year which is 8 semester in 4 four years of total also there is mid-sem exams which happens before 1-2 months of every semester. I personally find the difficulty is moderate not too hard or not too easy papers either. About relevancy of the curriculum its the same like of every other engineering college

I like all faculties member and also include our din and principal and hod,director.our college exam is so easy because our college provide assignment and practice all questions paper before exam and internal exam also before exam .our BPUT CONDUCT exam like semester and all semester conduct security and checking before going to exam hall.Also provide during exam water bottle .also exam is so easy during exam period.

Good college in bhubaneswar

The faculty to students ratio is 2:10 and the faculty to students relationship was so good and the name of the faculties I liked Smruti smaraki mam and biswajit sahoo sir and I like all faculties Total 8 semester and 18 internals and the questions were average and 10% students fail to clear the exams and the course curriculum is so relevant.

Value For money college

Faculty:

The faculty-to-student ratio is decent, around 1:20, and the teachers are generally approachable, especially thanks to the Proctorial system where they mentor us personally. My favorite has to be Dr. Tarini Prasad Panigrahi; even though he is the HOD and strict, his knowledge is top-notch. Sunil Sir is also great because he simplifies coding, and Prof. Manoj Kumar Sahu is very helpful during labs. On the flip side, I wasn't a fan of some of the newer junior faculty members who mostly just read off the slides and get defensive if you ask questions outside the syllabus. Since the college is autonomous, we have two internal exams and one end-semester exam. They are moderately difficult, so you can't just study overnight and expect to clear them; strict checking means around 10-15% of students do get backlogs in tough subjects like Maths. However, the curriculum is actually quite relevant with subjects like Python and AI introduced early, which really helps for placements.

The faculty member of our college is well connected with students. Generally students are able to do different practical and experimental research with teachers. My favorite teacher is hod sir with whom i am always sharing my project related work . The lab assistant teachers are not good so dislike them . Basically there are three exams in one semester with cycle test 1 and 2 and semester exam.

Semester exams are very tough. I like all our teachers and respect them. There are only semester exams and surprise test will happen in one two months. Exams are very hard to clear.
