Faculty to student ration was 1:50 The faculty Prakash sir Whom I liked. His way of teaching and explanation was the best. Vasanthkumari i don't liked her way of teaching and interaction with students Per sem we had around 10 to 14 exams Exams were quite difficult Some students failed to clear exams Totally it was good

My experience at Vijayapur college

Faculty:

College of agriculture, Vijayapur, has great faculty and infrastructure. There are separate departments for every subject and ecah department has an HOD and 4-5 lecturers. All lecturers are very well experienced and teach very well. To take the name of best faculty, I would say Dr. Vastrad sir, HOD of Plant pathology, he's great at teaching and always available for our doubts and approchable. Also Dr. Prakash, faculty of plant entomology, he teaches the best I would not say i hated this professor but i never liked her teaching style - Dr. Vasantha kumari, she is very knowledgeable though and I have a huge respect. The only thing is i never understood. There are 4 semesters and in each semester we have one internal assessment and one external assessment. The question papers difficulty level i would rate 7/10. The course curriculum is very relevant and mostly everyone passes the exams except few.

The faculty members were good and all professors were well experienced and the course structure was simple there were 4 semisters each year 2 semester and course was two years and eaxm structure was sem wise and final exam from university

Boys to girls ratio is 50:50. The teaching faculty was good. They are all experienced teachers. And proper usage of labs in studies through that we get practical experience.

Dislikes

Cultural activities are not good. No chance for freshers to get into participation. No encouragement from college faculties.
No regular classes. Lecturers used to skip class and they appoint there junior to handle the class. No proper food in hostel.

Faculty to students ratio is 1:20. And faculty of the college is good and they are communicable with students. I would like to mention my favourite lecturer- Dr.Prashanti ma'am, she teaches pathology subject very clearly, pin to pin. And very interactive with us. Dr. Desai sir for plant breeding Dr.Mahantesh Naik - economics. And also there are some lecturers whom I used to hate - Dr. Shashidhar sir for his teaching - because I am not able to understand his lectures. Dr.Sumangala Bhat - because she is very strict. Our course is on semester basis. In one semester we got one midterm exam and one final semester exam and practical exam. For one semester 100 marks Midterm exam -20 marks Practical exam -15 marks Attendance -5 marks Manual submission-10 marks And final semester exam -50 marks - 25 objective type questions and 25 subjective questions. Exam level is difficult type. One can't go blankly and clear the exam. 5-6 students used to fail.

I like the field and practical work in the open areas where professors takes class
I like teaching method of the professors and the maintenance of the lab
I like the individual department for the course and the working experience of the professors

The Relationship between faculty to student is awesome almost all the faculty is good everyone is very well in teaching subject there are 2 mid terms and 2 main exams in the year there are 4 years for the course,the fail percentage of students are less in exams

A simple agricultural college

Faculty:

Like per Sem there will bee midterm , practical and Sem exam will be there and We need to score least 50 marks out of 100 including 3 exams And here no good faculty and like in ever department only one or two lectures are there
