The college offers a 70% reservation for forestry graduates in government forest department jobs, with opportunities for MSc in forestry leading to teaching positions. While the placement cell exists, direct campus placements are minimal, with only a few companies like Syngenta, Tierra Seeds, and Kaveri Seeds visiting. Some students secure positions at MNCs such as Monsanto, Bayer, Zuari, IFFCO, and Indo-American Hybrid, offering salaries around Rs 25,000/month. Opportunities exist in both the public and private sectors, including roles in agricultural universities, banks, and seed, fertilizer, and pesticide companies.
Students often pursue higher studies or prepare for competitive exams like UPSC, banking, and Agricultural Officer exams. The university conducts workshops on entrepreneurship and offers internships in the final year, including a Rural Agriculture Work Experience (RAWE) program. Internships are primarily internal, with some external exposure through government or biotech department stipends, which increased from Rs 1,800 to Rs 5,000. Despite limited direct placements, the alumni network aids in job placements, and many students pursue PhDs or private sector opportunities through references.
