My experience at UG

Likes

I liked the diversity of the students, students are not just only from Karnataka, from all around india
Sports facilities: much importance is given for extra curriculars along with curriculum
Professors who are all having great on hand experience

Dislikes

Food quality maintenance: food quality is not upto mark
Roads and infrastructure : roads are not good
The college is having water problem is also one of major problem

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I earlier mentioned it's the best agriculture college having good curriculum and care towards students both mental and physical health. Exams are both external and internal having sufficient time for students to prepare

Food and accommodation the interaction , affordable fees,environment etc
Interaction of lecturers with students.
faculty with good knowledge the way of teaching was also good

Dislikes

The water problem in our hostel is one of the most worst thing there
Some lecturers were quite lazy at teaching and other things
The practical classes were not upto mark

The scope of Bsc Agriculture when i completed my PUC exams and good marks of mine influenced me to take this course Actually it is a very good course that showed us the ground reality of agriculture in todays world. Improve the practical classes Actually it was difficult to prepare us for exams because exams were daily without any gap

My experience at Vijayapur college

Likes

Students come from different parts of karnataka and also different states, so i liked the diversity.
The atmosphere in the college campus is the best to study
The faculty is great , very well experienced and the infrastructure is good enough. Hostel is very comfortable and safe.

Dislikes

I studied in sub- campus at vijayapura. The city is hot during summers and many students struggle to go to college during peak hours.
Water availability during summers is a huge problem over there. One has to manage with very less amount of water every day during that season.
There is nothing else to be disliked apart from these.

Course Curriculum Overview:

All the subjects that are included in the course are really important to survive in the agriculture sector if someone wants to build career. These courses teaches from fundamentala to advanced technology covering each and every aspect of this field. I think practical experience plays very important role in preparing students for the real world challenges rather than theory. So college has to give more importance to practical classes and conduct field classes more often rather than classroom teaching. Exams schedule and difficulty level is at par

Good dip agri college

I like the campus and its nature and corse was good
The teaching was good and professor were well experienced and good at teaching
The quality of infrastructure was good it Saraunds with nature

Dislikes

I don't liked its time table for conducting semester eaxms
And classes were not regular and principal was changing frequently
And course knowledge was limeted and was not worth it

I was interested in agriculture fields and i choose this course and timing of eaxm was 1 hour for 20 marks and external 10 marks on projects the difficulty level was hard it prepare you good for the world

Lessons learned and memories made...

Likes

I liked the environment of the campus to the most. We used to go for morning walk. We felt we were in heaven. And we also enjoyed hostel life too. We used to play badminton, throw ball etc...
Boys to girls ratio is 50:50. The teaching faculty was good. They are all experienced teachers. And proper usage of labs in studies through that we get practical experience.
Our college buildings are old but too good. Main building feels like kingdom of king. We met with many friends and we used to spend time at coffee shop that's our adda.

Dislikes

Main thing is there is no placements, and we won't get any permanent jobs after graduating from that college. And there is a question mark what to do next
No regular classes. Lecturers used to skip class and they appoint there junior to handle the class. No proper food in hostel.
Cultural activities are not good. No chance for freshers to get into participation. No encouragement from college faculties.

In one semester there are 11 subjects to study. And for next semester some of those subjects will continue. One can have indepth knowledge about the subject till the end of the course. And course curriculum helps to get what we can choose in future based on our interest. And it includes some objective type questions and prefers to keep us competitive level. Suggestion - faculty should be knowledgeable. Moreover consider students preference. And they should provide some knowledge about competitive exams. Time management in exams isn't tough. One can get enough time to write the exam .

An average agricultural college

Likes

We have sufficient and good library facilities
We have a good ground and all sports goundavaliable
We have very good facilities in hostel like all

Dislikes

College infrastructure is not good like its old
We don't have sufficient staff like per department only 1 or 2 are there
We don't like mess food like they will not prepare weell

My college my memories

Likes

I like the individual department for the course and the working experience of the professors
I like teaching method of the professors and the maintenance of the lab
I like the field and practical work in the open areas where professors takes class

Dislikes

I dont like the mess fee it was more than there are providing food and accommodation
I dont like the distance between the departments it is too long for walking
I dont like the college fee they are taking more fee than the opportunities they are providing

The main aspect of the curriculum is the practical work we are engaged in fields,to learn new methods and technologies in the Agriculture made me to choose this course Yup the curriculum prepares me real world applications in presenting new technologies in Agriculture There is nothing to improve in course curriculum the teaching methods are very well The frequency and timing of exams is around 4months for preparation

A simple agricultural college

Likes

Here good library facilities will be there
Peace environment surrounding our college
Good hostel facilities and separate rooms like 2 persons in each

Dislikes

No good food , I don’t like to eat in mess
There is proper facilities like for every department one or two lecturers are there
No good ground , court is not proper and they will not maintain

I think this is we good course but. This course mostly depends on the lectures and here we have very good hostal facilities but here we will face more problems about the food this mostly students will face this problem
