In this course we can get so much time to read for other competative exams like UPSC KPSC ect WE WILL GET MORE TIME THEN OTHER COURCES TO PREPARE FOR OTHER ECAMS AND FURTHER STUDIES AND WITH ACADEMICS WE CAN ALSO READ FOR OTHER EXAMS

Hi there! Write a review on Collegedunia using my college fee is around 60 thousand for year and for some category classes there is yearly 500 rupees fee and there is a seperate hostel and mess fee around 4k per month

The holiday is based on the university calender based on that holidays are given . By University calender which is attached in University website and the books and journals we can get in University website. And results also

Admission

I got this cource . But I also applied for the veterinary. Forestry. Horticulture and some engineering courses but I like this bsc Hons agriculture more that's why I selected this cource. I got this college in all kcet rounds

Faculty

Faculty teacher relationship is good with some teacher and also some teacher not correctly interact with student's There are mid-term pratical exam and sem exam are there . The sem consist of around 5 months

very good and affordable college with good hostel facilitites.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was very well structured with both theoretical and Practical exposure. The curriculum is designed in such a way that they are very relevant to real world , this also prepare the students to the real world applications and further academic pursuits. The improvements can be made in the practical part of the courses. There must be regular field visits and utilisation of funds to bring innovation. The internal exam would be after 2 to 2.5 months after the commencement of the semester and practical exams would be immediately after 10 days of the internals. The external or final exams would be after a month of practical exams. There will be enough time to prepare for the exams from the commencement of the semester but there will be no study holidays and gaps between the exams.

Placement Experience:

In this course placement is very low but other competative job is many more.5th semester students are eligible for compus placement. Fertilizer and agriculture engineering companies are visiting in this college. 3 lack package will given in company. Average 9cgp will taken every student. My gole is KAS will study after degree.

One thing i choose this agriculture field because i have passion in this field. After complete our degree program most go for banking sectors because agriculture now a days no much openings. I have chosen this because many govt jobs are available in this field. Our class has nearly 58 students. All professors are M.Sc. or Ph.D. with NET-qualified lectures. 3 exams will be conducted in a semester.

My experience at Vijayapur college

In Karnataka, one can get seat in agriculture college through K-CET. We are supposed to give priority order for our colleges. So my priority order was - 1.University of agricultural Sciences, Dharwad 2.College of Agriculture, Vijayapura 3.University of Agricultural Sciences, Raichur 4.GKVK, Bengaluru.. So i got into college of agriculture vijayapura. I couldn't make it to UASD dharwad since the cut off was a big high. I put vijayapura college as my 2nd priority because it is the sub campus of dharwad university itself. Uasd was my frst prefereed university because i have heard a lot about its reputation and faculty and campus life. Admission process went through Kcet board. My college rank all over India is 9th and in Karnataka it stands to first among other Agri colleges. Based on my cet ranking I got this college. I thought there will be campus selection , but my assumption went wrong. Admission process - first one should wrote KCET exam. After based on ranking one can go for counseling.
