Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum included the syllabus including 22 different departments like agronomy, entomology, pathology, food science, forestry etc...it thought us abt frm basics, but the hing was it included the old syllabus and the new technology in agriculture was noy included.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Coming to our academic fee structure ,its like semester fees payment ,as we git through kcet the fees was 25000 per semester..its like above 25 for odd sems and below 20k for even sems..other than kcet placements, the fees for nri quota is 6lakh per yr..

Campus Life

4

The college life was good while coming to social interactions..The monthly festival was held which was called 'kannada habba',it was celebrated every month to show our love towards kannada language. And while coming to sports, athletics, kho kho, volleyball, throwball ,basketball ,footba and crickets were included . Every year we used to conduct cricket ,football and kabbaddi matches.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel was good and in a room it was 4 members. The food was too good and it included breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. The monthly expenses was about 3000.They were serving non veg twice a month.

Admission

The admission process is through kcet exam.. I opted for this college itself in option entry as the college was top ranking in the country and it was 1st in karnataka.. The students need to clear kcet exam and the ranking should be below 3000..

Faculty

4

The faculty members were high in number. Some faculties were really gud at teaching nd the way of delivering the subject towards students was just amazing..As some pros and cons will b there,nd some faculties were not gud at teaching... Coming to the exam pattern ,it was like internals which was conducting for 50 that includes 25 written,10 practical,10 assignment nd 5 attendance and the external includes 50.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is fully based on botany particularly Horticulture like fruits, vegetables, flowers, plantations, medicinal, and aromatic plants. I have chosen this because many govt jobs are available in this field. Our class has nearly 58 students. All professors are M.Sc. or Ph.D. with NET-qualified lectures. 3 exams will be conducted in a semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main reason to choose the course was that I wanted to get into medicine but since I was not allotted I got into this which also had a good scope. The college has a good faculty-student ratio. Faculty members are well qualified with minimum qualification of M.Sc.(Agri) in the top University

Placement Experience:

I have no idea about placements. Seniors are either pursuing a PhD, or they are working as JRF. I haven't heard that even one of our seniors has been placed in any company. Students are worried about their future. There is no job security in this university for M.Sc and MBB students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have joined this course for learning gardening. Faculty members were good. majority of the Faculty completed master's degrees in Agriculture & Horticulture. This is a four years course. Every year, there are two mid exams & Two Semester exams, and Two Practical Exams. Mid exams were quite easy compared to Semester exams. But Easy to pass all those exams, if you thoroughly listen to classes & prepared well.

Placement Experience:

Including an 8-semester performance, there is a chance of placement. Many government jobs will be offered for BSc agriculture and MSc agriculture students 30 % chance to get a government job, many private sectors also provide a job for them by a package of 30000 per month. I'm planned to work in any government sector to give my best for our farmers
