University of Agricultural Sciences, Raichur (UAS) was established in 1932. UAS offers 12 UG courses, 12 PG courses and 10 PHD courses under the Agriculture and Agriculture Science departments (Agriculture, Horticulture, Agronomy, Social Sciences, Forestry and many others).. The admission process can be completed through both online and offline mode.
All admission procedures are done strictly on basis of the merit list/marks obtained. Top courses are the B.Sc., B.Tech and M.Tech as well as MSc courses that it offers in UG and PG courses respectively. It provides PHD courses also.
Admission to BSc and B.Tech programs is based on the scores in the practical test conducted by the University and rank in the merit list. All admissions are based on the Merit list rankings and exams conducted by the university. An application form has been provided in the official website. Offline forms are not available. Application fee is to be paid through demand draft.
How to Apply?
- Visit the official website of the university.
- Download the application form after going to the ‘apply now’ tab.
- Enter all the information required in the application form.
- You need to select the programs for which you are applying for admission (You can select a maximum of two streams).
- You will then have to attach the required documents along with the photo, signature and left-hand thumb impression.
- After filling up all the details, you should review the completed form.
- Once everything is done, submit the form.
Note: The entrance test will be conducted for both the programs in which the candidates have to answer 100 questions in 75 minutes.

UAS contains all the major facilities. Facilities available are Boys Hostel, Girls Hostel, Gym, Library, Cafeteria, Auditorium, Lots of Laboratories, Farming systems, irrigation gadgets, Seminar Hall, Sports, and Guest Room.
