University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Dharwad is a premier institute of Agricultural Science, was established in 1986 under section 3 of the Karnataka Universities of Agricultural Sciences Act, 1963. It began College of Agriculture in 1947 at Dharwad. The university aims to provide for undergraduates and postgraduate instructions in agriculture and other allied branches of learning.

The research programmes of the University are of three kinds viz., basic, applied and strategic oriented towards solving location specific and farmer-centric problems.

I have got admission in mahatma phule krishi vidhyapeeth in first round of counseling but compared to that college university of Agricultural sciences Dharwad is practically good in teaching new methods and technologies,this college had more Agricultural lands compared to other colleges I dont got any rejection from other colleges The admission process of my college has many ways the entrance tests conducted by KCET,ICAR,NRI quota etc ,every student should have atleast 50%of marks in entrance test

I got this cource . But I also applied for the veterinary. Forestry. Horticulture and some engineering courses but I like this bsc Hons agriculture more that's why I selected this cource. I got this college in all kcet rounds

The eligibility to this colleges through kcet and ICAR the exam pattern is a little bit term but it is okay to crack it's some cutoffice nearly 2000 rank for ICAR and kcet is like the state examination

After 12th, I wrote ICAR entrance exam through the Central portal. I got admission in in University of agricultural sciences, Dharwad is actually very good and we are getting good opportunities and experiences from here and we are interested with so many pros and many students, different different states, so it is very beneficial and the cut-off of the exam is like previously it was conducted by ICAR. Now the admission procedure is through CUET. THE CUET Rank REQUIRED FOR THIS COLLEGE is 2000-, 8000 WE WILL GET ADMISSION HERE

The fees was affordable. It is a cultured place. Importantly government owned. It has renowned alumnis. Its highly reputed college in the state. The research activity in the campus is highly funded. They solve basic problems

I choosed this college and course because it is one the easiest course and about college it is the top most i.e., 10 th rank in all over india and 1st agricultural college in Karnataka. This is best choice i ever made

Admission process is so smooth, you can pay fee through bank transfer or you can use internet banking as well. Competitive exam called KCET for pcmb candidates from Karnataka this is the exam and you need to have a ranking of 5000 and within to get seat from top farm science colleges. Other than that you've ICAR exam through that you can get a college anywhere in India.

Course name - B.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture Competitive exam was Common University entrance test. Then Icar took out the rank card based on the percentile score. Then we had to to do the choice filling of the colleges. As per the rank we got alloted to college.

Yes, the University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Dharwad, offers a B.Sc. in Forestry. This undergraduate program focuses on forest management, wildlife conservation, and related environmental sciences, preparing students for careers in forestry, conservation, and environmental management.
The university has 5 colleges, 27 Research Stations, 6 Agriculture Extension Education Centers, 6 Krishi Vigyan Kendra, and ATIC. Bagalkot, Belgaum, Bijapur, Dharwad, Gagad, Haveri, and Uttar Kannada are the seven districts where UAS Dharwad has its jurisdiction. UAS Dharwad is recognized by the UGC. The university offers a total of 54 courses.
After pursuing course of Diploma in health inspector, you can pursue courses viz. Medical Assistant, Health worker, Field Assistant.
