University environment is really I like it very peachful
Climate condition of dharward is best for spending their time and greenery in champus is really nice

Their hostel faculty is too much bad there is no solution of your complaint

Agriculture is past of our country amd present and future Agriculture is fully job filled course Every country needs agriculture officer and teachers by the increasing population agriculture course is necessary

Class Size: 110Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

If you are out side of karantaka state and get admission by the ICAR exam so you get 33000? per year. By the ICAR But if you are resident of karantaka then you take more scholarship by the state government

Campus Life

Champus life is overall good but for outer State students their is soo much difficult regarding to language issue because karantaka language is difficult to understand and speak so some professor speak karantaka language so difficulty rises to understand the concept

Hostel Facilities

In 1st yeat 5 person in a room so their is difficult to adjust with other students To get admission in hostel is very easy no any process to get admission 20k charge to pay het admission for security charges when you left hostel you get refunded Meal quality is ok no speciy food give just normal meal Out side pg is better but in agriculture i prefer hostel

Hostel Fee: INR 5000 per year

Admission

You get take admission by the ICAR entrance exam which merge with common universities entrance exam (cuet) In which you get upto 3k all India rank then you get easily get admission in University of agriculture science dharwad by the councilg process of ICAR

Faculty

If you are out side of karantaka you crack ICAR entrance exam to get take admission in University of agriculture science If you are resident of karantaka then kcat exam you need to crack for get admission

very good and affordable college with good hostel facilitites.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was very well structured with both theoretical and Practical exposure. The curriculum is designed in such a way that they are very relevant to real world , this also prepare the students to the real world applications and further academic pursuits. The improvements can be made in the practical part of the courses. There must be regular field visits and utilisation of funds to bring innovation. The internal exam would be after 2 to 2.5 months after the commencement of the semester and practical exams would be immediately after 10 days of the internals. The external or final exams would be after a month of practical exams. There will be enough time to prepare for the exams from the commencement of the semester but there will be no study holidays and gaps between the exams.

Placement Experience:

In this course placement is very low but other competative job is many more.5th semester students are eligible for compus placement. Fertilizer and agriculture engineering companies are visiting in this college. 3 lack package will given in company. Average 9cgp will taken every student. My gole is KAS will study after degree.

One thing i choose this agriculture field because i have passion in this field. After complete our degree program most go for banking sectors because agriculture now a days no much openings. No need to improve there teaching level because their teaching at topmost. External exam paper are quite difficult

I have chosen this because many govt jobs are available in this field. Our class has nearly 58 students. All professors are M.Sc. or Ph.D. with NET-qualified lectures. 3 exams will be conducted in a semester.

My experience at Vijayapur college

In Karnataka, one can get seat in agriculture college through K-CET. We are supposed to give priority order for our colleges. So my priority order was - 1.University of agricultural Sciences, Dharwad 2.College of Agriculture, Vijayapura 3.University of Agricultural Sciences, Raichur 4.GKVK, Bengaluru.. So i got into college of agriculture vijayapura. I couldn't make it to UASD dharwad since the cut off was a big high. I put vijayapura college as my 2nd priority because it is the sub campus of dharwad university itself. Uasd was my frst prefereed university because i have heard a lot about its reputation and faculty and campus life. Once I got selected for the college i had to visit college for further admission process by submitting all the necessary documents, filling out the admission form, paying the 1st semester fees....Read More

Admission process went through Kcet board. My college rank all over India is 9th and in Karnataka it stands to first among other Agri colleges. Based on my cet ranking I got this college. I thought there will be campus selection , but my assumption went wrong. Admission process - first one should wrote KCET exam. After based on ranking one can go for counseling.
