Likes

I like the campus and its nature and corse was good
The teaching was good and professor were well experienced and good at teaching
The quality of infrastructure was good it Saraunds with nature

Dislikes

I don't liked its time table for conducting semester eaxms
And classes were not regular and principal was changing frequently
And course knowledge was limeted and was not worth it

Course Curriculum Overview

I was interested in agriculture fields and i choose this course and timing of eaxm was 1 hour for 20 marks and external 10 marks on projects the difficulty level was hard it prepare you good for the world

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees was total 12000 the registration fee was 1200 and admission fees 6000 there was no lab charges but a semister wise fees was1500 for general i was high my bachmate fees were also same for hostel it costed more

Campus Life

The campus was good and we lived there in hostel but there were no regular class it impacted us on social aspects like farming and we grow some vegetables and selled it out and from that money we gone to trip

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities were not so good but the mess meal quality was good and fees for both room and mess was near 5000? rupee a month registration process is complete when you want to join college at that time you have to choose

Hostel Fee: INR 1000 per year

Admission

I applied for nursing and veterinary along with this course but first i got selection in diploma agriculture and that's why i joined this college the eligibility for this is you need to pass at least 10th

Faculty

The faculty members were good and all professors were well experienced and the course structure was simple there were 4 semisters each year 2 semester and course was two years and eaxm structure was sem wise and final exam from university

Interview Experience

The group discussion was good it was about agriculture future and technology how would agriculture will be in future and all it statistics and advantage and disaster and how to make agriculture more organic

Night Life

There was a gym that we joined but we could not make it so far we left the gym after 1 month and public area closing timing was 12 o clock night and cafeterias were good for hangout with friends the locality was also safe

Syllabus is well updated.it as both basic sciences and applied. Including genetics and cytogenetics to bioinformatics. No industrial exposure. Inside department only had molecular labs that was suffic

1year has two semesters each semester fee is around 20,000 and a hostel fee is around 30000 per year If you study in the same state you get fee reimbursement from the state and we you study in another Icar scholarship of 3000 per month

My experience at Vijayapur college

In Karnataka, one can get seat in agriculture college through K-CET. We are supposed to give priority order for our colleges. So my priority order was - 1.University of agricultural Sciences, Dharwad 2.College of Agriculture, Vijayapura 3.University of Agricultural Sciences, Raichur 4.GKVK, Bengaluru.. So i got into college of agriculture vijayapura. I couldn't make it to UASD dharwad since the cut off was a big high. I put vijayapura college as my 2nd priority because it is the sub campus of dharwad university itself. Uasd was my frst prefereed university because i have heard a lot about its reputation and faculty and campus life. Lessons learned and memories made...

Admission process went through Kcet board. My college rank all over India is 9th and in Karnataka it stands to first among other Agri colleges. Based on my cet ranking I got this college. I thought there will be campus selection , but my assumption went wrong. Admission process - first one should wrote KCET exam. After based on ranking one can go for counseling.
