The University of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences (UAHS) is a state university which was established in the year 2012. It was established under the Karnataka Act no. 38 of 2012. The university aims to produce quality human resources in the field of agriculture horticulture and forestry. The university is affiliated by ICAR. The university offers the course of B.Sc. in Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry, M.Sc. in a number of specializations, Ph.D. in Agriculture and Diploma in Agriculture. There is a provision of lateral entry admission for diploma holders into B.Sc. degree programs offered by the University.

We can enter to this course through CET and ICAR exam. And the application forms will be available online in their official portal. Exams will be held yearly once and exam will be moderately difficult but can be cleared in first attempt.

For admission Should write the CET exam Then the selection happens by option entry round which consists 3 rounds The cut-off depends on that year's highest score and other aspects included The agricultural practical exam should be attempted in order to join
After 10th I took Science for PUC and I completed PUC, After PUC I write the KCET entrance exam and Also I wrote the ICAR exam and I got Ag Bsc Seat at the College of sericulture Chintamani. I also wrote a Practical exam and I got 430 practical Rankings, Through the General Merit quota, I got a seat. I didn't go for ICAR counselling so I didn't get a seat through the ICAR quota but I got this seat through the KCET entrance exam
The candidate has to complete his 12th in PCMB combination. The application is done through Kacey or through ICAR aieea. Reservations as per Karnataka government norms. The campus seriously improves campus placement cells.
when i took admission it was 3rd best college in india and was highly recommend by my friends and family admission process was very simple i wrote exam and in 1st counselling rounds got the college i stay in Bangalore and it was near my home too so selected this college over others
Parents choice and I was also interested in agriculture so that I could help the farmers who are the backbone of our country.Moreover this course is package of many courses we can learn lot of things
Positive remarks are very much about our college no enjoyment and the facility are not so good and teaching is very good and the environment for studying is not so high.there is lot many scope for agriculture.

College need lot and lot of improvement. The scholarship need to be given attest for all MSc students. The lab facility need to be improved. More improvements need to be made on the infrastructure. Hostel facility need a lot and lot of Improvement.
Good college with well equipped instruments and facilities. A good environment to study well. Here we also expose much to the practical works so that we will learn well and it will be helpful for our higher studies also.

Those who wish to take admission in one of the affiliated colleges of University in any undergraduate degree course must appear in CET conducted by KEA. Admissions to postgraduate and Ph.D. courses are carried through common entrance test conducted by Farm Universities of Karnataka. Diploma course admissions are done on the basis of merit of SSLC marks. Lateral Entry admissions for diploma holder are done on the basis of entrance test. Candidates applying under agriculture quota must apply separately for practical test.
UG Application:
Visit the official website of KEA to register for KCET by filling correct details.
Candidate has to pay application fees of INR 650 for General/OBC and INR 500 via bank challan.
Agriculturist Quota:
Practical Test Fees is INR 500 for General and OBC category and INR 250 for SC, ST and Category candidates.
The fees has to be paid at Practical Test Centre at the time of verification of document in the form of DD drawn in favor of Comptroller of UAHS, Shivamogga.
PG and Ph.D:
Applicants have to apply online and pay the requisite application fee of INR 500 for SC/ST candidates and INR 1000/for others on or before June 21 on the UAHS official website.
The fee amount could be paid through e-payment to the A/c No. 2737101017655 of the Assistant Comptroller, UHS, PG Admission, payable at Canara Bank, UAS, GKVK, Bengaluru (IFSC Code- CNRB0002737).
Lateral Entry
Candidates had to apply online and pay application fee of INR 1000 for General category and INR 500 for SC/ST category candidates through e-challan in favor of Comptroller, University of Agricultural Sciences, GKVK Campus, Bengaluru to Account – GKVK 2016 A/C.

The fee for the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Agriculture is INR 67,000 for the duration of 4 years which includes various charges such as security deposit, medical charges, college development fund, examination fees, tuition fees, registration fees, and other miscellaneous charges.
