College life on a loop!

Likes

The college is surrounded by nature..it is full of greenery which gives a positive energy everytime when we enter into the university
Climate here is soo soothing.. mornings are chilly and nights are cool..all climate here is extreme..l
Faculty here is so supportive they are all well experienced they are all having doctrate in their respective subject.

Dislikes

Food here is not adjustable.. students out of state will find it very difficult to adjust here because of totally different taste and rice size
No entertainment programs like other colleges..we haven't had holi celebration or new year celebration.
The fees here is reletely high in comparison to other government colleges.usually scholarship or national level is 3000

Admission:

Actually I wrote the cuet (common university entrance test)for different agricultural universities under icar the exam was of 600 marks all MCQ and I scored 420 marks with a overall india rank of 2100 Later during option filling my first option was universal of agricultural and Horticultural science Bangalore but I couldn't get there for somewhat 1000 rank difference do the next best option was this college so I filled option here and I got it in the second round. My overall admission procedure was never planned one because I will actually preparing for neet and unfortunately I couldn't get it so simply write the cuet exam I got this college..coming to the procedure here we took admission from the main university where is gave our important credentials like 10th and 12th mark card..cuet score card.. allotment letter etc..and we payed registration fee and got our admission letter which we submitted at our college and admission was confirmed .....if I got 500 plus mark I would have surely got my desired college but this didn't happen so I took admission at this college as I asked many seniors who studied here..2 seniors told that this college is good and adjustable even though problem with food may occur..but accademically it is a better option.

KSN-UAHS, An overview of the college Education and infrastructure

Likes

The campus is good with hostel facilities, library and laboratory is average where improvement is needed.
People from different parts of the country (ICAR students) and different part of the state join here so you will be finding diverse social interactions
Course curriculum is well structured and studing is not a hectic job.

Dislikes

The hostel facilities are average and improvement is exepcted in the days to come
Library is kept closed at 7PM which is early compared with other agrocultural university
Placements and internship opportunities are lacking

Admission:

I was a dayscholar and my home was 8KM away from the college so dring the covid times i took a decision to be near to my home and complete my degree. The admission process in Agriculture university for UG will be through KCET exam where you need to score good rank (below 10k) to get a seat. 50% reserevation is also given to farmers family to opt for this degree

Likes

Good campus with best teachers I have ever seen and good in sports and cultural too.
It was great experience of 4 years here and I loved the vibe in and around
I will surely suggest this college for my juniors and they will love the vibes

Dislikes

Hostel facility is not up to mark and rules are hectic
Infrastructure is too minimal and it could get improved in upcoming years
Teachers with good knowledge also fail to explain well sometimes here

Admission:

We can enter to this course through CET and ICAR exam. And the application forms will be available online in their official portal. Exams will be held yearly once and exam will be moderately difficult but can be cleared in first attempt.
