- non availability of airport in dhanbad creates problems

Course Curriculum Overview:
computer science is open to all companies and it is the best branch in all colleges. The faculties are quite good some of the subjects like dsa are very interesting while some subjects like co are quite difficult and boring. It's difficult to score cgpa greater than 9. One semester lasts for about 4 months which we find a little rushed up.

Placement Experience:
After 3rd year students are eligible for placements. Actually, most of the students have skills and good CGPAs and get placements easily. The placement rounds of the companies have some special opportunities for girls.

- As such there is nothing big concern that I don't like about this college.
Placement Experience:
Placement opportunities are very nice in my college. A good alumni network makes better opportunities for placement. From 4-5 semesters, a student becomes eligible for campus campus-placed internship and from 6 sem you can be eligible for campus placement.
Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Oracle like companies that give placement to our college students. The highest package of the college is 60 lpa and the average package is 17 lpa. Nearly 95% of students got on-campus placement.

- Japser hostel the hostel i stayed in first year
- The rooms are very small not maintained.
- Poor internet connections across the campus

6th semester students will be available for pre-placement offers,
And from the 7th semester officially allowed for placement interviews.
Highest package 1cr per annum.
Many big multinational companies come to hire students.

- Some more sanitation needs to be required and there is a lot of pressure for studies
Placement Experience:
Placements of college are quite good specifically in Petroleum computer science, electronics and communication and some more branches, more than 70 percent students get placed and it matters branch wise too

- I did not like the food in the hostel, for sports we should know how to play well then only we get chance to play.
Placement Experience:
The placement percentage is almost 98 to 100 percent in some branches, with off campus as well as on-campus. The avg package is 1900000Rs and on-campus internship opportunities are also there for the students.

- The sports facility is good , almost every sport and coaches are available.
- The Library is huge and fully air conditioned.
- The new boys hostel is amazing. And very large and beautiful.
Dislikes
- the class rooms. Are not air conditioned.
- Only the main gate of campus is open and the rest are closed.
- There are not a variety of cafeteria in the campus.
Placement Experience:
The placement of our college is decent. The average package is around 20 lakhs. Companies like Google Accenture de show Microsoft Samsung ongc comes here. I think the highest package is around 50 lakhs. And almost the placement percentage is 80 to 85 percent.

- You get a great peer group that is motivated enough to learn things.

- Peer group is so good that you may feel lagging behind.
- Sometimes there occurs situations where a particular group of people get preference on club recruitments.
- Stray dogs are a concern here, they are huge in nimber
Placement Experience:
Placements here are very good because, in circuital branches, you get a huge number of opportunities and companies knocking. They are ready to accept an iitian in their firm with open arms all the time.

- The campus is very green and clean. This keeps us happy to avoid visiting somewhere outside for chilling after a long hectic day
- The placements and internships here are excellent and motivating for all
Dislikes
- There are a lot of people here and everyone keeps competing one another.
- There are a lot of stray dogs in the campus that need to be taken care of.
- mess foods in some hostels are not at par. The in time for hostels is strictly 12 am and for the campus main gate it is 10 pm.
Placement Experience:
Placements at an iit has always been extraordinary breaching new heights every year. Our college has also seen great placements for a decade with almost every student doing a good job and many big tech giants like Microsoft and google visiting us.

Students are eligible in the final year only for the on-campus placements and in the pre-final year for the internships. Top companies like Google, Uber, Amazon, Microsoft, and Sprinkler for the IT industry, and companies like ONGC, Schlumberger, cairn, Exxon, Tata Steel, sail, and Coal India came for recruitment for the core.

IIT Dhanbad ranks 15th among the Engineering category by NIRF 2019. It is a much older establishment than IIT Bhubaneswar. The fee structure for BTech in ECE at IIT Dhanbad is 2,30,120 for one year. It Requires a JEE ranking of 3000-10000 for ECE. The ECE department of IIT Dhanbad has seen 60% placement of students with an average annual salary package of 15 lakhs per annum and highest being 39 lakhs per annum.
