- Campus life is really good here in IIT ISM Dhanbad.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum in IIT is not that much hectic, but yes the competition is so much to survive in any IIT that it feels sometimes really hard to cover everything. Now talking about the faculty, they are highly qualified and one of the best in the country. The faculty-to-student ratio is somewhat around 1:60, but it varies for different IITs.Professors try their best to make us understand each topic, but yes there are exceptions everywhere. One can't expect that you will not need the help of other resources after listening to the lectures of Prof. Now coming to the term exams, in my college two quizzes are conducted and one mid-term and one end-term examination in one semester, which is not that hectic.

Placement Experience:
The placements are really good. almost everyone gets placed. I would say that branch matters. it just makes the process easier. There are companies covering a variety of profiles. just get to know what interests you and go for it.

- i liked the campus and the relationship which we have with our seniors and juniors
- apart from academics we have many other great opputunities
- our student activity centre where we play sports everyday

- initially you will have to follow certain rules in pretext of what they call as culture
- you have to maintain a certain level of discipline with seniors
- you will have to study the subjects on your own
Placement Experience:
placements are good for all branches but they are exceptionally good for branches like petroleum engineering, and mining, and the intern history is good, and many opportunities in the non-core sector. nearly 70% of students get placed.

Placement Experience:
The placement culture is healthy in our college. The steady competition among students helps them in achieving placements at a greater level compared to other colleges. The placement and the Intern season are actively awaited by students.

- The hostels are old and need to be renovated
- The work is generally done slowly here and that delays things.

The faculty members are amazing and pay full attention to all my questions. The courses are really interesting and keep us updated with modern problems and their solutions. Overall I really feel this Course will help me out.

Placements are quite good but the quality is decreasing year by year.
Google, sprinkler, salesforce, etc. Visited our campus on day 0 which is quite amazing.
The highest package is offered by GOOGLE which is 56 lakh inr and the average package of IIT(ISM) DHANBAD is 8 lakh inr.

- The campus in-time at night should be increased .
- The campus is situated at a place where nothing is great outisde the campus.

Placement Experience:
Students from the 8th semester get eligible for placements, however right from the start of the 5th semester, they can go for intern and then try for pre-placement offers.
There are 150+ companies visiting the campus for every branch and almost every company gives a job offer.
The highest package is something around 60 lpa with a average package around 20-25 lpa.
Students from every branch get decent placement.
To go for a government job.

- IIT ISM Dhanbad is a very competitive institute. This can be stressful for students who are not used to academic pressure.
- cost of living in Dhanbad is relatively high. This can be a financial burden for students who are not from wealthy families.
- located in Dhanbad, which is a remote city in eastern India. This can be a challenge for students who are not used to living in a small town.
Placement Experience:
The placement record of IIT ISM Dhanbad is very good. In the 2023 placement season, 1,082 students out of 1,154 registered students were placed. The highest salary package offered was INR 56 LPA and the average salary package was INR 16.98 LPA.

- In the hostel, I don't like the mess food.
- College campus is also too short than other iits .

After clearing the 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. companies visited. In my college highest package was 46 lacs and the average package was 20 lacs.

- Heritage building which is good to see all of the students like it. It is the mining department.
- Library it is the India largest library the environment is good to read.
- Nlhc the classes will be conducted here the classes are big .
Dislikes
- Meals some days food will be not so good it becomes hard that day.
- Labs are not so much good there are many equipment will not be available.
- Outside of Dhanbad it is not so much good and it takes long journey from home.
Placement Experience:
College placements are there it starts in September and ends in April most of the students get the placements. If you have a good cgpa and skills. Our college placement growth is growing. For sde roles, students apply more.

IIT Dhanbad ranks 15th among the Engineering category by NIRF 2019. It is a much older establishment than IIT Bhubaneswar. The fee structure for BTech in ECE at IIT Dhanbad is 2,30,120 for one year. It Requires a JEE ranking of 3000-10000 for ECE. The ECE department of IIT Dhanbad has seen 60% placement of students with an average annual salary package of 15 lakhs per annum and highest being 39 lakhs per annum. IIT Dhanbad has a total of 332 faculty members who are highly qualified and experienced members. Out of total, 315 members are Ph.D. holders.
IIT Bhubaneswar ranks 17th in the Engineering category by NIRF 2019. It is one of the newer IITs.
