Total Summer semester fee payable as per registered course (10000 per course) and other charges as applicable
For NRI Category:-
The students will be required to pay additional mess charges of Rs 15000 per semester. Not applicable to foreign national students who are permitted to avail Institute’s International hostel.
Foreign National Students desirous of availing of elevated accommodation and dining facilities at the Institute’s International Hostel need to pay an extra INR 47261 per semester including the total semester fees in odd and even semester. For availing International Hostel, the students are required to put forward their request which may be considered case-to-case basis, depending on the availability and as per Institute norms.
Break up of extra charges:- INR 26500 (Mess charges, which may change depending on the price of food items in the future) and INR 21661 (Hostel seat rent)

Our institute INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (ISM) Dhanbad provides similar fees structure like other IITs, for scholarship, yes they do provide ous scholarship called MCM and regarding finances they do help in providing loans with SBI

- Some more sanitation needs to be required and there is a lot of pressure for studies

As I am in the first year only so no jobs right now, and the fees are just fine there are policies for people who cannot afford the fees here, so the finance system is all good. Scholarships here are for people who cannot afford fees.

- Great infrastructure, and better opportunities for research purposes.
- Large alumni group due to being an old college.

- The location of the college is not so good.

A lot of scholarships are being provided by the college you just have to fulfill the eligibility conditions. There are special scholarships for the petroleum branch as well. It will take you around 12 - 13 lacs to complete your bachelors.

- i liked the campus and the relationship which we have with our seniors and juniors
- apart from academics we have many other great opputunities

- initially you will have to follow certain rules in pretext of what they call as culture
- you have to maintain a certain level of discipline with seniors

the fee is the same throughout all institutes and there are various scholarships that they provide. if you are a general category student who has a family income greater than 6 lakhs then it is hard for you to avail of any scholarship.

- The newly built hostel is great and probably the best.

- The campus in-time at night should be increased .
- The campus is situated at a place where nothing is great outisde the campus.

The fees are definitely hiked every year by a few amount which is obvious however the cost is pretty decent compared to other IIT's. Also students with reservations get the benefits like no tuition fees.

- one of the top engineering institutes in India. It has a strong academic reputation and its graduates are highly sought-after by employers.
- vibrant student life with a variety of clubs and societies. This provides students with opportunities to get involved in extracurricular activities and to meet new people.
Dislikes
- IIT ISM Dhanbad is a very competitive institute. This can be stressful for students who are not used to academic pressure.
- cost of living in Dhanbad is relatively high. This can be a financial burden for students who are not from wealthy families.

If you lie on the sc st category then of course your fee will be 0 rs. there are many scholarships too depending upon parents' income and your CGPA. In this branch, core companies offer approx. 20 LPA. SC-ST has only to pay hostel and mess fees.

- Due to IIT , students here are from all over India so we got to know about their culture their language ,food and other things about them.
- I liked the vegetation here , their are lot of plants and trees which make overall campus green.

- Due to different regions people their is a linguistic barrier here.

students have to pay semister fees before the starting of the semister, for me in petroleum engineering the overall fee of the course is around 10.56 lakhs. well, there can be reduced if you are SC/ST/PWD and some scholarship if you want. you can do an internship which can give you money.

- 13 working weaks we have and but our some saturday is working day

The cost of the study is approx 2 lakhs per year Fees structure is different for all other catteries SC ST and financially weak students have 100 percent of the scholarship whose family income is under 100000 and whose family income is greater than 100000 and less than 300000 they get 70 percent scholarship and whose family income greater than 300000 and less than 600000 they get 50 percent scholarship name of scholarships as NSP National scholarship portal and state scholarships Hostel mess fee refund scholarship.

- The campus was built in 1926 so it has some good heritage buildings and lots of greenery.
- There are many opportunities for sports here. There is SAC (student activity center) for students.

- Being an IIT there is academic load on the students.
