Placement Experience:
It provides many placement opportunities to the students. The students who study in the 3rd year are eligible for the placement or from 6 sem. Many companies namely google, sprinkler, tomato, and many more visit the campus for placements. The average package is min 1900000 per year and out of the total students, up to 50% of students got placed with the maximum level of package.

- Being a 90+ years old college, it has a very strong senior and alumni system, who are very helpful in times of need.
- A plethora of events are organized, and there is something to do other that academics for the whole year round.
Dislikes
- The teachers, though highly qualified, are not the greatest when it comes to teaching.
- The administration is very illogical, and often makes many brain-dead decisions.
- Corruption is rampant, with favouritism and money being used to get positions even in student bodies, let alone the administration.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester, and a plethora of companies visit the college with offers ranging from 8 to as high as 56 lakhs. A majority of students get placed on campus, although there has been a recession for 2 years now so the placements are a little on the low side. I plan to further continue my studies after getting my degree.

- Mess quality is always a concern in our college.
Placement Experience:
The placement season in IIT Dhanbad generally starts from the 7th semester. The intern season starts between the 4th and 5th semesters. The placement stats are quite good in our college as compared to others with an average package offered being 20 lacs. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Atlassian, IBM etc. visit the campus during placement and intern seasons. The highest package offered in our college (on campus ) is 56 lacs.

If you are getting into the Petroleum Engineering branch there is no need to worry about the placements. A lot of private companies as well as PSU's show up in the college and if you have a decent CGPA you will have no issues in getting placed.

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 7th semester. Various companies like Google, amazon, microsoft etc visit us for IT sectors and even in core sectors we have companies like Tata Steel, ONGC etc visit every year.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course because ee is a core branch. placement is also good. This college is near to my hometown. student: faculty ratio is good enough. Exams are conducted for every 10 classes. There is a quiz, mid sem, then end sem.

- Campus is very beautiful there are a few spots you will love the most to spend time at.
- Cultural activities are held regularly which always sprinkle a positive and joyful vibe around the campus
- Living with friends all along your journey and getting to learn a lot of things from them is also a wonderful experience
Dislikes
- Food quality at hostels is very poor. They should really improve upon this
- If anyhow lifts broke down we have to climb 12 floors through stairs to get into room
Placement Experience:
In the 7th semester generally, placement interviews are held students get hired by quite a decent number of good companies. The average package can be estimated as 25 Lkahs/Annum. intern interviews and tests were also held around 55o students were good interns last year which is a huge number.

The students can get PPOs from the 3rd Year and placements from the 4th Year.
Most of the top companies in India do visit for on-campus placements.
The highest package last time was off campus at 3 Cr per year.
The average package is about 13 LPA.
The placement percentage is quite good depending on a branch like MNC had a 100% placement.
I plan to get a few years of job experience and then pursue an MBA

IIT Dhanbad ranks 15th among the Engineering category by NIRF 2019. It is a much older establishment than IIT Bhubaneswar. The fee structure for BTech in ECE at IIT Dhanbad is 2,30,120 for one year. It Requires a JEE ranking of 3000-10000 for ECE. The ECE department of IIT Dhanbad has seen 60% placement of students with an average annual salary package of 15 lakhs per annum and highest being 39 lakhs per annum. IIT Dhanbad has a total of 332 faculty members who are highly qualified and experienced members. Out of total, 315 members are Ph.D. holders.
IIT Bhubaneswar ranks 17th in the Engineering category by NIRF 2019. It is one of the newer IITs. Thus, IIT Dhanbad will be a better option to study ECE than Electrical Engineering from IIT Bhubaneswar because, Being one of the oldest established IITs, IIT Dhanbad is known for its quality of education and their campus life. It also has better and more experienced faculty members.
