The students will be required to pay additional mess charges of Rs 18000 per semester
Total Summer semester fee payable as per registered course (10000 per course) and other charges as applicable
For NRI Category:-
The students will be required to pay additional mess charges of Rs 15000 per semester. Not applicable to foreign national students who are permitted to avail Institute’s International hostel.
Foreign National Students desirous of availing of elevated accommodation and dining facilities at the Institute’s International Hostel need to pay an extra INR 47261 per semester including the total semester fees in odd and even semester. For availing International Hostel, the students are required to put forward their request which may be considered case-to-case basis, depending on the availability and as per Institute norms.
Break up of extra charges:- INR 26500 (Mess charges, which may change depending on the price of food items in the future) and INR 21661 (Hostel seat rent)

- The Campus is very beautiful and lush green campus
- The college is fully secured you will find security guard every where in the campus
Dislikes
- Mess food of Amber Hostel could be improved a little bit
- Freshers are not allowed in gym. And college is having only one single gym
Fees and Financial Aid:
For ST category there is no tution fee we only need to pay our hostel and mess fees which sums total to be aroud 26000 per semester. But during my admission i paid 56000 in my monsoon semester and 26000 this winter semester. All fees like lab and others all included in this semester fees. Talking About scholarships One i know is NSP for st student by central government, which pays all the fees of semester and give stipend of 1200 every month. There are many more but i don't know in details about them.

- Nice atmosphere in the college, the Trees and all gardens
- The Clubs are really helpful in personal development so are the seniors who are always there to help
Dislikes
- Regionalism is very much evident nowadays
- Outside the campus the atmosphere is not so pleasant
Fees and Financial Aid:
I'm a general student with my family income revolving around 6LPA , so I am not eligible for most of the scholarships in the campus. But if someone is from general category and has has a family income of below 5LPA you can get the MCM Scholarship which is very Very helpful. It would cover most of your fees like 70% or so. If 1LPA Or less then your full fee is reimbursed whichever category you belong too. For other category students most of the scholarships are opened MCM being the main. I'm a student still and from what I am seeing the oncampus opportunities are pretty good.

Fees are on par with the other elite colleges of the nation, the advantage of being in an IIT is that it can be used for getting better placements and the college environment can play a major role. There are various scholarships provided based on the merits and the financial status.

The fee structure at IIT(ISM) Dhanbad varies for different programs. For UG programs, the tuition fee is around INR 2 lakh/year. Additionally, there are other charges for hostel accommodation, mess facilities, and other amenities. IIT(ISM) Dhanbad provides several opportunities for scholarships, financial assistance, and campus jobs. The institute offers merit-cum-means scholarships for economically disadvantaged students. Various government schemes like National Scholarships, SC/ST Scholarships, and OBC Scholarships are also available. it collaborations with industries, leading to campus placements and internships. These opportunities allow students to earn while studying and gain practical experience. Many students secure part-time jobs within the campus, which helps them cover their expenses.

Fees are reasonable in our college, and we have so many scholarship programs provided for students. There is this tuition fee waiver program to which students can apply according to their family income, and there is this mcm scholarship in which students can apply based on their CGPA scores.
