Likes

The clubs here are extremely vibrant and keeps the happy wind blowing in the campus
The campus is very green and clean. This keeps us happy to avoid visiting somewhere outside for chilling after a long hectic day
The placements and internships here are excellent and motivating for all

Dislikes

There are a lot of people here and everyone keeps competing one another.
There are a lot of stray dogs in the campus that need to be taken care of.
mess foods in some hostels are not at par. The in time for hostels is strictly 12 am and for the campus main gate it is 10 pm.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite balanced with a mixture of some tough courses and some lighter ones. The faculty here is mixed, you will like some of the professors and hate some. Just like any other engineering college, except for the fact that all the professors are masters in their respective fields and are extremely knowledgeable.

Class Size: 130Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are available at the start of the third year in our college with a number of companies visiting the campus to take interns with them. The students prepare for them and appear in lots and then followed by the interview.

Placement Experience

Placements at an iit has always been extraordinary breaching new heights every year. Our college has also seen great placements for a decade with almost every student doing a good job and many big tech giants like Microsoft and google visiting us.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee was straightforward 1 Lakh as tuition and around 35-40 thousand as extra hostel and mess charges. There are many scholarships regarding economically weaker sections and SC/st classes, and easily one can avail of them.

Campus Life

The campus life is awesome with a full-fledged and closed lush green campus. You can find each and every necessity inside the campus itself. There are cultural fests, and technical fests extra annually, and there are proactive clubs that keep the campus alive at all times.

Admission

IIT(ISM) Dhanbad allows btech admissions through the IIT-JEE entrance examination. For the computer science department, the cut-off was around 3,000 rank in jee advanced. After you pass the merit-based cutoff criteria, you get the corresponding course in this college through JOSAA counseling.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Beyond the Brochures: Fun Days at BIT

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

Students become eligible for internship after 4th semester , after 6th semester the companies start coming for regular placement For cse the average was around 20 lpa with median being 16-17 lpa Companies that generally visit are - atlassian, Amazon, flipkart , BNY Mellon, cisco, Texas Instruments etc Around 140 offers were made and in a batch of 120, 100 have secured placement Placement percentage is around 92% Highest package - 65 lpa atlassian (on campus) 1.23 cr rubrik (off campus) Lowest package - 7 lpa Average - 18 - 20 lpa

The Underrated NIAMT

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible after 6th semester for placement drive. Companies visited are Vedanta, JSW, Mahinda, L&T, Ashok Leyland etc and 95% of students are placed till and still few companies are yet to come. Heighest package offered was by Vedanta of 13.95LPA while lowest was from an ADC Company of 3LPA which makes the median package around 8LPA for metallurgy branch and 7LPA for Mechanical. Every year around 98% of students get placed ( Rest 2% either opt out or any seruius indisciplinary issue ) Planning to get a job first then along with preparation of GATE for PSU.

Is Arka jain University right fit for you

Placement Experience:

on every occasion they will charge the students, there is no good placement, every year they increase the exam fee, students are not regular its poor then government colleges just pay penalty and your attention will be full, its like correspondence course they are running huge but and regular power cuts unhealthy canteens, political motivated administration and management. There expenditure in infrastructure is huge which is best for love birds its like park or garden. Overall all not dedicated to education.

A two years review of Central University of Jharkhand

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculise fully designed on national education policy 2020. Focuses more on extracurricular activities than core subjects. Because reply is designed on the basis of UGC guidelines which is a good thing for different competitive exams that are design by UGC. I will say semesters are to short that all till now my all four semesters has been glitter in about 4 months each that should be of duration of 6 months.

Must Read before coming to IIT ISM Dhanbad

I had secured AIR 5860 in JEE Advanced, so i had applied for all CSE, ECE, ELECTRICAL, MNC and related branches in Top IITs. For my rank, I got IIT ISM Dhanbad in the last round. I had also got IIT Kharagpur Manufacturing Science, but I choosed to go for furture rounds as i thought doing a circuit branch in IITs is better. I could not make it to colleges that i wanted to as my rank was 5860 and belonging to the GENERAL category, the rank is too high to get into top branches of the top 7 IITS. The admission process is JEE Advanced, Elgibility is that u need to have good rank in JEE Advanced, the rank required varies from branch to branch but i can give you and idea, for our IIT ISM, CSE -> 2000 to 3500, MNC -> 3500 to 4500 , ECE -> 4500 to 6000 and so on....Read More
