I could have gotten admitted in NIFFT Ranchi and by the 2k24 cut offs I could have gotten BIT mesra Chemical alonwith a plethora of colleges on AKTU or MPDTE counclling.I also qualifies CUET with a decent rank enough to secure a college in the DU south campus. The primary reason I chose this college was the Return on investment.Even withot any fees waiver the entire fee here is close to 4 lakhs for a span of 4 years which is very low compared to the average package of the college.Als the branch Mechanical has a decent scope in the GATE exams. First of all this college is only for the students of Jharkhand.If you wanna get admitted here and belong to the general category you need a percentile from 87 to 94.5.If you are from other categores the cutoff goes even lower.The admission process is quite simple.You fill a form which will ask you for a security deposit of 5000 on the jcece website.After this you will be eleigibke to do choice filling.You will be alloted a branch based of your rank and choice.Forgetting admission you will have to vsit the college annd submit all your documents.You can upgrade your branch in the later rounds.There are 3 rounds and 2 special rounds....Read More

For the following reasons I choose BIT Sindri- 1. It is very affordable 2. It is nearby my home. 3. Placements percentage is good for electrical branch which I opted. 4. It is well recognised by the people in industry and public sector 5. It is one the oldest college in india. 6. It has good alumini network and u can connect with them to explore opportunities. 7. It is the best engineering college of Jharkhand government. Comparing to other colleges I applied for It do not provide that much expore and opportunity but it has limited and secure placement. I applied for NITs and IITs .. comparing to them BIT has not at par facilities ,curriculum and placement and internship opportunities. I was not able to make to other colleges that I applied for is due to the reason that my CML in JEE Mains and Advanced was not enough to score me a seat. Now talking about the process of taking admission in college firstly you need to be a permanent resident of Jharkhand with proper documentation. Then with your jee score you can apply for JCECEB counciling program. A merit list is made according to your Jee Mains rank among the students who have registered for JCECEB counciling. After that according to your rank and seats your get college and branch. After that you need to just submit the documents and make the payment for tuttion fees , security fees and hostel if opted. I can have applied for other private colleges but they were expensive and on other hand BIT is affordable and has got good placements rate even if you are mediocre. The first criteria that pulls me to choose this college is its affordablilty,and it's placement which is quite good.I applied for many colleges according to my result like Punjab engineering college,Haldia Institute of Technology,NIT Jamshedpur etc. I get confirm admission from Haldia and got rejected from PEC Chandigarh and NIT Jamshedpur.It is so because I don't have that much percentile that the college asks for. The admission process in our college is very simple after clearing the exams you have to go through the JCECEB councelling.
