NOTE:

• Only those candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from ICAR accredited Universities/institutes shall be eligible for admission in doctoral programme.
• The in-service candidate selected for admission to Doctoral Programme will be offered admission in the same subject in which he/ she has got the Master’s degree. The minimum qualifying marks for admission of in-service candidates to Doctoral programme shall be relaxed by 5%. However, 10% in case of Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Persons with Benchmark Disability.

• Proof/Certificate of completion of eligibility criteria for the desired subject should be submitted including the OCPA/OGPA/Percentage marks.
• The applicants who are already enrolled for Masters degree program up to academic year 2015-16 can also enroll themselves for Ph.D program complying to the respective eligibility criteria for the same.
• The total number of seats and reservation of seats for the Masters as well as Ph.D courses is determined by the Academic Council, keeping a quota for HP bonafide, Kashmiri Migrants, in-service candidates, NRI/Foreign Nationals/Sports/Co-Curricular activities, Fellowship Awardees and Self-financing candidates.
• There is a 5% relaxation for in-service candidates belonging to the General category while SC/ST/DA candidates have a 10% relaxation in the total aggregate marks in Post graduation.
