Know this before choosing Nirma.

Fees and Financial Aid:

I have taken admission in Nirma University in the year of 2024 with course BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Course fee for ECE is 2.5lakhs/yr. So it will be 10lakhs for course as the Btech in ECE is of four years. If you belong to EWS/SC/ST and you avail tution fee waiver, you are supposed to pay only some amount of money may be around 4k/year. If you are taking admission through NRI quota the fees will be huge may go upto 6-10Lakhs/year. As we know Nirma University is well established and have market value, so we can expect that over campus placement will be good.

The grade evaluation is also absolute unlike other top universities which follows relative marking.
The overall curriculum of the university is slightly on a strict side or is exhaustive. The attendance policy of each individual subject is 85% which is quite hard to maintain.

Fees and Financial Aid:

For general category, the fees installments are to be paid semester wise as it starts, so there are two installments yearly. The total fees per semester is around 1,20,000 so yearly it is 2,40,000. By summing up the total fees for entire 4 year B.Tech course is around 9,60,000 and you can take it roughly 10,00,000 by adding some miscellaneous expenses. The first installment for the very first semester was 1,27,500 which includes 1,14,800 as tution fees, 1000 as university enrollment fees, 3500 as exam fees, 1200 for welcome kit and 7000 as security deposit for library which is refundable. And from second semester onwards it is 1,18,300 as total fees where 1,14,800 is tution fees and 3500 are exam fees. For SC and ST students (freeship card), only exam fees i.e. 3500 is to be per semester. For NRI and NRI sponsered students, $3250 USD is to be paid per semester.

I got admission in nirma University in year 2024.the faculty here was just absolutely best as far as the fees are concerned.the fees for 1 year is near about 229000.which contains all exam fees tution fees lab fees etc.for students admitted through management category should be paying two times the fees because I Heard that.In sc category students the fees for freeship students are 13500 for assurance.mamy my batchmate got the opportunity for various scholarships via university.there is an merit cum means scholarship for the students who do well in their academic year to support their financial condition.there is not any unnecessary fees for this course.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Talking about fee sturucture at Nirma university, you've to pay 127500 per semester.(BTech program has 8 semesters). Refundabe fees are 7000. Enrollment fees are 1000. examination fees is 3500. orientation and welcome kit costs 1200. so tution fee is 114800. There are 3 categoties for admision through jee mains, acpc, NRI based. NRI students have no scholarship opportunities. If your acpc rank is lee than 200 you'll receive free education. If your jee mains rank is under 5500 for CSE department and under 20,000 for other departments you'll receive free education. other than that, if your family income is less than 8lpa(in which you'll receive 50,000 in a year) you can receive a scholarship under category 2 and if it is less than 4lpa ( in which you'll receive 1lakh in a year) than you can receive a scholarship under category 3. If you come under Mysy scholarship than you cannot apply for scholarship provided by Nirma univesity. All other categories have same fees.

The fees is reasonable as compared to other private colleges considering the placements and internship opportunities there are plenty of scholarships availible some are merit based on the basis of jee gujcet or boards and there are some for all to apply as well. There are also scholarships for sc/st and obc people. The fees is the same for everyone and the scholarships range for 10000 to 100000

My per year fees at nirma university is rupees 250000.There are many sorts of scholarships which include the merit cum need with people whose family income is less than 6lakh or something.Also you can take admission throigh NRI quota if your parents are NRI,while the fees will increase which will be around 5.5lakh per year.Intake in Nirma University is by two ways either by JEE MAINS (All India Level) and other way is by ACPC.ACPC admissions are done by considering the State CET exam which is Gujcet and marks obtained by candidate in 12th boards.By this a final merut list is prepared which is used to provide admissions in colleges in gujarat which includes Nirma University.Overall I would say it is one of the best university in gujarat and provides placements.Average package here is around 10lakhs per year.While the circuital branches and computer branches have slightly more average package here.

The affordability of the fees is completely personal and depends on one to one financial conditions but the university provides us all things which justifies the fees. There are many scholarships which are given to students such as Government scholarship -50% return back on original fees Nirma University scholarship - 50% return back on original fees Which roughly goes out 1,15000 per year This scholarships are not given to everyone there are some conditions and eligibility criteria to gain the scholarship and the main criteria is family income

Nirma University is a good choice for pursuing an ECE program. I think I can give you some insight into the ECE department as I know a few people from the institute.

Talking about the ECE department of the college, this department has got very good faculties and you will get ample opportunities to work on various projects with them.
You are not supposed to carry hardware kits home but you can use the college’s hardware kits but they have a restricted usage policy.
You will get the opportunity to visit various industries for learning purposes during your stay at the college.
Some expert faculties who belong to different industries come here to deliver lectures that will be useful for you.
The college also has good placement records; companies like Analog devices, Samsung & free scale have visited the campus earlier.
The highest package received by the university is 16 LPA while the average package is 8 LPA.

The negative aspects of the college that you will find seniors and students complaining about the college. You will have to ignore them. As you might get fewer facilities, not very great infrastructure and fewer faculties, the college is not as bad.

Nirma University, the very first University established in Gujrat that was ranked between 101-150 by NIRF 2020 and was ranked 4 by Outlook Magazine. The university is accredited by NAAC, NBA, and SAQS. It offers a BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering with a course fee of 7.31 lakhs.

Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) is one of the renowned private universities located in Gandhinagar. It is ranked 177 by NIRF for BTech. The university offers a BTech for CS and the admission is through JEE Mains. PDPU charges 9.73 lakhs for BTech courses.
