Know this before choosing Nirma.

The curriculum of the course is so designed that each subject you study in your 4 years of course will completely give knowledge about each field of specific interest. In the first lecture of every subject of course faculties explain the importance of the subject of curriculum, gives overall review/important in very first lecture only, so you can relate all the things why the specific subject is there to be studied.

I am in first year so I have to do internship in vacation between first year and second year, the vacation will be of around 2 months, I have to do internship of 21 days in it. But these internship will be in NGO, so it is only for experiencing the NGO/helping others. One company is there which offers internship for first year students named as MN8 foundation which is a NGO.

Campus placement are there in Nirma. Nirma allows students of Nirma University to take place in placement interviews after one year of their graduation also. Talking about my field highest package was of around 36.5 lakhs/year. Average is about 9 lakhs/year. Many students choose to pursue there Masters after under graduation, Nirma University also helps in that by providing letter of recommendation. But students of Nirma have to choose between two choices, wether they want to take placement or the letter of recommendation. At this stage I am not able to decide what to do...

I have taken admission in Nirma University in the year of 2024 with course BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Course fee for ECE is 2.5lakhs/yr. So it will be 10lakhs for course as the Btech in ECE is of four years. If you belong to EWS/SC/ST and you avail tution fee waiver, you are supposed to pay only some amount of money may be around 4k/year. If you are taking admission through NRI quota the fees will be huge may go upto 6-10Lakhs/year. As we know Nirma University is well established and have market value, so we can expect that over campus placement will be good.

There are 3 major clubs in Nirma University names as stallion, Arrow, AUV. Stallion is for cars, this club have represented Nirma University on National levels many times. Arrow is for Drons, having many achievements. AUV means Underwater automated vehicle, also having many great achievements. One club considered as special one is Robocon, Focuses on Robotics and all that stuffs. Many clubs like ECO, ISTE, etc are also there. Some clubs also have tie ups with NGOs. NCC club is also there.

I have applied in many colleges of Gujarat including LD, VGEC, Adani, Ahmedabad University, BVM, DDU, DDIT and obviously Nirma. At first I thought that computer engineering is the only course at today we should choose but after some research I found that Electronics and Communication is also an emerging field in this decade. So I choose ECE in Nirma University besides Computer in any other colleges(including government one).

As the Nirma University is so established, faculties of Nirma University is expected to be highly qualified and highly experienced and they actually are. Some faculties have experience in teaching sectors more than my age. All faculties have very nice nature, all talks very politely.

The Library of Nirma closes at 6:15pm. There is no Gym in Nirma, so no questions about timings of gym. Cafeteria is opened till late night. There are hostels in campus pf Nirma University so some students which are residents of Hostel may roam around campus till some time.
