Best College for overall development

Overall it is a good college and the college management is very well organised

The curriculum is very very good.They keep on updating it as they talk with alumni. The curriculum is much same as followed in IIT's. Each course is divided in three parts i.e lecture,lab & tutorial. Practical knowledge for each topic is provided. Yes,the college also tells the students what are the things that industries need in an engineer in present time. College also has mutual relationship with some companies which train the students. Also there is an incubation center which provides funding for your startup idea,if they feel that your idea is worth enough.There are many platform in college which encourages you to be innovative and come up with a unique project or idea or anything.

Aditya Birla, Reliance Industries,TATA,Vedanta Resources,Adani Group, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. Hindustan Unilever Ltd.JK Lakshmi Cement etc.These are just a few companies which come for recruitment, there are other several companies also. Placement percentage is around 85% and the average package is 8.5Lacs.

NU Tech(Technical), Vaudeville (Cultural),Praveg,Scintilla,Nirmaan, etc.Apart from these there are many clubs and each club organises its own event. Almost whole year one or the other fest keep on going in the college. NU-Tech is Ahmedabad's largest tech fest. It was started in 2012 and inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi who was the CM of Gujarat at that time.In 2012 itself there was a footfall of 3000 people,it kept on increasing and has now reached to 5000.It has 50+ events and 12+ workshops for various fields of engineering, Vaudeville is a cultural fest for only the students of Nirma University. It gives immense pleasure and happiness to the students.It has many events such as dancing, singing,drama etc. So it gives a chance to students to showcase their talents.

The college fees is 180000(in 2019) per year for B.tech program. It increases by some amount every year.So it is quite obvious that this fees is feasible. Fees can be paid through NetBanking,Paytm or can be deposited in cash at the college.There is no additional fees which is to be paid in order to get admission in the college. Yes, the college tells you each and everything about the fees you paid,like how much amount is used for examination fees, academic fees etc.

Yes the college provides scholarship on the basis of rank in competitive exam.Also scholarship is provided to the toppers of each year. Apart from this there are also scholarships available for EWS students.

The college has adopted a zero tolerance policy which includes anti ragging and no kind of discrimination is tolerated. Strict action is taken against such activities.The gender ratio is (8:1)(boys:girls),and this ratio is seen in most of the engineering colleges. The college life is very very good as the campus is very clean and green.Apart from this there are many extracurricular activities done in campus such as dancing, singing,many events are organised. You get a chance to become the head of students association etc. There are also clubs which make electric cars,robots etc. and take part at national and international level.So in my opinion the campus life is great in my college.

Nirma University doesn't provide hostel for any of the undergraduate programs till now. So you have to look for a hostel outside the college or else a PG. There are several hostels and PG's in radius of 2Km from college. In hostels and PG's there are single, double, triple and four sharing rooms available as per your requirement.The approximate amount to be paid is 1.2Lacs which includes food, transportation and laundry and your stay there.

The seniors are very helpful and there is no ragging in our college. Seniors will always guide you and support you. You can talk with them easily without any hesitation and can share all your problems. ITNU has a great Alumni network. Many alumni comes to the college and tells the present scenario in which they are working.They also do alot of things for current students. Also some alumni sponsor or donate to the college for various purposes.

Admission for outside Gujarat students is done through JEE Main rank.You have to fill the admission formof this college which is available on its website.After that they make the merit list of all the students who have filled the form.Then they take top students on the merit list. Counselling has 3 rounds.As we reach 3rd round of counselling the cutoff keeps on decreasing.In the form you have to fill your branch preference,if you are eligible for that branch than college calls you for in-person counselling.Further formalities are done in the college itself when you attend the in-person counselling.I chose this institute because according to my JEE rank it was the best possible college I was getting.Secondly it was near Udaipur, Rajasthan (my home town).The college is also NAAC accredited A grade.It is also NBA accredited.

There are 215+ faculty members in ITNU.All professors are Ph.d holders.Not only this most of the professors are doing high quality research work and providing solutions to industrial problems.All faculty members are very good and their teaching quality is also good.Some faculty members have industry experience and most of them have certification of National and International institutions.
