- Campus is clean and hygienic. It is nature friendly campus. There is no pollution.
- Food is good in the canteen. And hostel are also good.
- Nirma has very big cricket ground and much more sports facilities.
Dislikes
- Exams are taken per month so you have to work overnight to pass the exams.
- Institute gives large number of assignments.
- Classes are also from 8:45 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. That is very hectic schedule.
Course Curriculum Overview
This course (Electrical) gives full exposure to the core and any other domains like machine learning, artificial intelligence etc. Faculties are around 20 and students are approx 150. Faculties are well qualified from IITs, NITs and many other good colleges. Exams are conducted per month and total of 4 exams are conducted in one semester.
Internships Opportunities
There are many companies that visited our university for internships like Oracle, Tekion, Samsung R&D, Crest etc for technical background and reliance, L&T, and Amazon for core background. There is operational-related work in the core branch and development-related work in CSE companies.
Placement Experience
From the sixth semester, you can apply for internships or placements. Companies like Samsung R&D, Media.net, Reliance, Oracle etc visit our campus. The highest package is 20 lacs and the average package is 8 lacs in the batch of 2023 in the CSE branch in core highest is around 9.5 lacs and the average if of 6 lacs. My plan after my degree is to get placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Per annum fees are 190050/-. That is very much high but you can also get a scholarship or financial assistance if you want. And also if you take admitted to TFW then you only have to pay exam fees. The government is also providing scholarships i.e., MYSY
Campus Life
The campus is full of adventures and colourful events or fest. There is a minimum of one fest per month in the university like club events. And competitions like singing, dancing, debate, stand-up etc. The library is also very big. There are many books in the AC library. Nirma is also known for sports and extra curricular activities. Nirma has many social groups like codeadda, ROBOCON, chesa, MESA, EESA etc
Admission
I get admission through JEE Mains score. You can also get admission through 12th board and GUJCET score basically on the basis of ACPC rank. Application form is available on Nirma University website. Appliaction fees is around 1000/- approximately also you can check on website if any changes happen in fees. Eligibility is candidate must have passed 12th board with the minimum percentage of marks mentioned in the latest eligibility guidelines by the ACPC.
